CVE-2026-57577 2026-09-14 N/A
DotVVM is an open source MVVM framework for web applications. Prior to 4.2.11, 4.3.15, and 5.0.0-preview09-final, a route containing multiple unconstrained parameters in one path segment can cause excessive regular-expression backtracking in DotvvmRoute.IsMatch when a remote requester supplies a long near-match path. DotvvmRouteParser.RouteRegex previously had no matching timeout. Patched runtimes retry with the .NET non-backtracking engine, while runtimes that do not support non-backtracking matching return HTTP 503 after the one-second timeout in DotvvmRoutingMiddleware. This issue is fixed in versions 4.2.11, 4.3.15, and 5.0.0-preview09-final.
CVE-2026-53752 2026-09-14 7.5 High
docx4j is an open source Java library for creating, editing, and saving OpenXML packages, including DOCX, PPTX, and XLSX files. Prior to 11.5.14, PropertyResolver and adjacent helpers recursively follow the WordprocessingML w:basedOn style inheritance chain without cycle detection. A well-formed DOCX containing mutually based styles causes unbounded recursion in PropertyResolver.fillPPrStack and related effective-style resolution paths, resulting in StackOverflowError. Server-side conversion and table-of-contents processing of an untrusted document can terminate a worker thread, degrade a thread pool, or deny service, although isolation in disposable workers or safe containment of StackOverflowError can reduce the practical effect. The fix adds cyclic-style tracking and CyclicStylesException handling. This issue is fixed in version 11.5.14.
CVE-2026-50276 2026-09-14 7.5 High
dd-trace-rb is Datadog's client library for Ruby. Prior to 2.32.0, W3C baggage extraction does not enforce DD_TRACE_BAGGAGE_MAX_ITEMS, which defaults to 64, or DD_TRACE_BAGGAGE_MAX_BYTES, which defaults to 8192, although those limits apply during baggage injection. A remote unauthenticated attacker can send a baggage HTTP header containing many comma-separated key-value pairs or a single very large value. The extraction path allocates entries while parsing the attacker-controlled header on every request, causing unbounded CPU and memory consumption in an HTTP service where the baggage propagation style is enabled, which is the default for most affected tracers. This can cause denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 2.32.0.
CVE-2026-48054 1 Openzeppelin 1 Contracts-wizard 2026-09-14 8.8 High
OpenZeppelin Contracts Wizard is a web application to interactively build a contract out of components from OpenZeppelin Contracts. Versions prior to 0.10.9 generate a Hardhat test file (`test/test.ts`) by interpolating user-supplied `opts.name` (ERC20/ERC721) and `opts.uri` (ERC1155) directly into TypeScript string literals at `zip-hardhat.ts:48` and `:50` without any JavaScript string escaping. No authentication is required: an attacker crafts a URL such as `https[:]//wizard[.]openzeppelin[.]com/#/erc20?name=");require("child_process").execSync("...");("` and shares it with a developer. When the victim downloads the resulting zip archive and runs `npx hardhat test`, the injected Node.js code executes with the developer's local OS privileges. Version 0.10.9 fixes the issue.
CVE-2026-46696 2026-09-14 3.3 Low
October System provides the system module for October Content Management System. Versions prior to 3.7.17 and 4.2.21 have a vulnerability in the Twig sandbox security policy that allowed a chained bypass when `cms.safe_mode` is enabled. The Laravel session store was exposed to Twig with unrestricted method access, and raw SQL methods reachable through Eloquent's `__call` forwarding were not blocked across the full builder chain. When combined, a backend user with CMS markup editing access could read arbitrary database values via raw SQL expressions and write to the backend authentication session key, forging a backend session as another existing user. The scope of impact is narrow. Safe Mode is a niche feature, primarily used for demo installations and multi-tenant or shared-editor scenarios where untrusted users are deliberately granted access to the CMS markup editor. Standard production deployments do not enable Safe Mode, because under normal October CMS guidance backend access - including markup editing - is restricted to trusted administrators, and direct PHP injection through markup is already possible without Safe Mode in that configuration. This issue only affects sites that meet all of the following conditions: `cms.safe_mode` is enabled (a deliberate opt-in for demos or untrusted-editor scenarios; the site has at least one backend user with CMS markup editing access who is not intended to be trusted as a full administrator; and the site has at least one existing superuser account whose session the lower-privileged user can impersonate. The vulnerability has been patched in v3.7.17 and v4.2.21. The Laravel session store is now wrapped in a proxy that exposes only an explicit subset of read/write methods and rejects writes to reserved session key prefixes (`admin_auth`, `october_auth`, `login_*`, `_token`, and other framework internals). Raw SQL and subquery methods (`selectRaw`, `whereRaw`, `orderByRaw`, `joinSub`, and related) are now blocked on `Query\Builder`, `Eloquent\Builder`, and `Eloquent\Model` so the blocklist is consistent across the `__call` forwarding chain. All sites that enable `cms.safe_mode` are encouraged to upgrade to the latest patched version. A workaround is available. Restrict CMS markup editing access to fully trusted administrators only - the standard October CMS recommendation for any deployment. Note that disabling `cms.safe_mode` is not a workaround; Safe Mode is the boundary this issue affects, and disabling it removes the only sandbox between markup editors and the server.
CVE-2026-45057 1 Matrix-org 1 Matrix-sdk-ui 2026-09-14 4.9 Medium
matrix-sdk-ui provides GUI-centric utilities on top of matrix-rust-sdk. The message edit validation logic in the `matrix-sdk-ui` crate prior to 0.17.0 is missing a check: when replacing an encrypted event, the replacement event itself is not required to be encrypted. This enables a malicious homeserver administrators (or actors with equivalent power) to impersonate or spoof messages as if they were sent by a victim user. `matrix-sdk-ui` 0.17.0 fixes the message edit validation logic to align with the algorithm for replacement events[^1] described in the Matrix specification. No known workarounds are available.
CVE-2026-88000 2 Open-webui, Openwebui 2 Open-webui, Open Webui 2026-09-14 6.5 Medium
Open WebUI is an extensible, feature-rich, and user-friendly self-hosted AI platform. From 0.10.0 until 0.11.1, DELETE /api/v1/chats/{id}/messages/{message_id} used the chat-history deletion helper in backend/open_webui/models/chats.py to follow childrenIds without recording visited message identifiers. An authenticated user could store a cyclic chat tree and delete a message, causing a synchronous infinite loop on the server request loop that blocked every user's requests until the process was killed. This issue is fixed in version 0.11.1.
CVE-2026-90996 1 Redhat 2 Enterprise Linux, Openshift 2026-09-14 4 Medium
A flaw was found in sssd. A local unprivileged user could send a specially crafted request with a zero-length body to the Network Security Services (NSS) responder. This could lead to a denial-of-service condition, causing the NSS responder to become unstable or terminate. This vulnerability affects the availability of the system responder.
CVE-2026-90994 1 Redhat 2 Enterprise Linux, Openshift 2026-09-14 4 Medium
A flaw was found in sssd, specifically within the PAM (Pluggable Authentication Modules) responder's protocol v1 parser, pam_parse_in_data(). A local client with access to the PAM responder's UNIX socket can exploit this by negotiating protocol v1 and sending an empty or truncated PAM request body. This can trigger an out-of-bounds read, potentially causing the PAM responder to terminate or restart, leading to a local denial of service.
CVE-2026-89562 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-14 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ip6_gre: fix hardware header length for NBMA tunnels ip6gre_tnl_link_config_route() accumulates the lower device's hardware header length into dev->hard_header_len whenever header_ops is set. This is incorrect for both users of header_ops. ip6gretap and ip6erspan have a fixed Ethernet hardware header length. For an NBMA ip6gre tunnel, ip6gre_header() creates only the GRE header, the optional FOU or GUE header, and the outer IPv6 header. The lower device header is headroom needed later, not part of the tunnel device's hardware header. Keep the lower device header in needed_headroom. Set hard_header_len to the tunnel header length only for ARPHRD_IP6GRE devices with header_ops, and leave the fixed Ethernet header length unchanged for tap and erspan devices.
CVE-2026-81950 1 Microsoft 12 365, 365 Apps, Excel and 9 more 2026-09-14 7.8 High
Double free in Microsoft Office Excel allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code locally.
CVE-2026-81953 1 Microsoft 14 365 Apps, Excel, Excel 2016 and 11 more 2026-09-14 7.8 High
Stack-based buffer overflow in Microsoft Office Excel allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code locally.
CVE-2026-82076 1 Mongodb 2 Mongodb, Mongodb Server 2026-09-14 6.5 Medium
An integer overflow in the query planning component of MongoDB Server can allow an authenticated user with ordinary database-level read/write privileges to bypass an internal resource limit. Submitting a specially crafted query causes the server to consume memory without bound during query planning, and the resulting exhaustion terminates the server process. This may result in a denial of service affecting all databases served by the affected node.
