| The Everest Forms WordPress plugin before 3.5.0 does not correctly restrict access to several REST API endpoints belonging to its onboarding assistant: the capability check is only applied when an attacker-controllable request header holds a specific value, so it can be bypassed by omitting or changing that header. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to read onboarding status information, modify the related Everest Forms WordPress plugin before 3.5.0 options, and trigger an email from the site to an arbitrary address. |
| FreeScout is a free help desk and shared inbox built with PHP's Laravel framework. Prior to version 1.8.224, the public endpoint `POST /user-setup/{hash}/{invite_sent_at}` (`OpenController@userSetupSave`) selects the target account solely by its `invite_hash` column, then overwrites that account's email and password and logs in as it. No authentication, cookie, or prior session is required. After a user activates, FreeScout sets `invite_hash` to the empty string. On MySQL and MariaDB, `VARCHAR` equality ignores trailing spaces, so a single URL-encoded space (`%20`) matches the stored empty string and selects the lowest-id activated user. The expiry guard decrypts `invite_sent_at` with the target's password hash, but `Helper::decrypt` returns its raw input unchanged when decryption fails. A plaintext numeric value such as `9999999999` therefore passes the time-to-live check without any secret. The result is that an anonymous attacker sets the email and password of the lowest-id activated FreeScout account (a support agent, or an administrator if one was added by invitation) and authenticates as that account. Version 1.8.224 contains a fix. |

| The Essential Addons for Elementor – Popular Elementor Templates & Widgets plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authenticated Account Takeover via Email Header Injection in all versions up to, and including, 6.6.10 This is due to insufficient server-side validation of a Login/Register widget setting used to construct outgoing email headers — the allowed-values restriction is enforced only in the client-side editor UI and not on the server, and the applied sanitization does not strip or encode CR/LF characters, allowing CRLF sequences stored in that setting to survive into raw mail headers. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject an additional Bcc header into the WordPress administrator's password-reset notification email, receive a copy of a valid administrator password-reset link, and achieve full administrator account takeover. |
| The SureCart plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to privilege escalation via account takeover in versions up to, and including, 4.2.3. This is due to the plugin not properly validating a user's identity prior to updating their details like email during customer profile synchronization from webhook events. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to change linked user's email addresses, including administrators if the administrator account is linked to a SureCart customer record, and leverage that to reset the user's password and gain access to their account if the customer ID is known. |

| Capgo before 12.128.2 allows email address changes without requiring current password re-authentication or verification of the existing email address. | Pimcore is an Open Source Data & Experience Management Platform. Prior to 2025.4.6 and 2026.1.6, an unauthenticated attacker who knows a valid admin username can take over any Pimcore admin account by sending a password reset request with an attacker-controlled resetPasswordUrl. The server generates a real cryptographic recovery token, appends it to the supplied URL, and emails the link to the victim; when the victim clicks the link, the token is sent to the attacker and can be used with POST /pimcore-studio/api/login/token to authenticate with full admin privileges while bypassing two-factor authentication. This issue is fixed in versions 2025.4.6 and 2026.1.6. |

| FOSSBilling is a free, open-source billing and client management system. In versions 0.5.6 through 0.7.2, when a `ClientPasswordReset` record already exists for a client (from a previous unexpired reset request), subsequent calls to the `reset_password` guest API endpoint reuse the existing token instead of generating a new one. The 15-minute validity window is anchored to the first request's `created_at` timestamp, not the time of the most recent email. An attacker who obtained the original reset link remains able to use it even after the victim requests a new reset, because the original token is never invalidated or rotated. Version 0.8.0 patches the issue. Some workarounds are available. Configure a reverse proxy (e.g., Nginx, Apache, Cloudflare) to apply per-IP rate limiting to the `/client/reset-password` endpoint to minimize the window of opportunity, and/or manually clear expired `client_password_reset` records from the database after a client reports a suspected compromise. |
| Coolify is an open-source and self-hostable tool for managing servers, applications, and databases. Prior to 4.0.0-beta.471, the TrustProxies middleware trusts all proxies ($proxies = '*'), accepting X-Forwarded-Host from any source. The TrustHosts middleware, intended to prevent host header attacks, has a circular caching dependency that prevents it from ever validating hosts. When a password reset is requested, the ResetPassword notification generates the reset URL using url(route(..., false)), which derives the host from the (spoofable) request. An unauthenticated attacker can trigger a password reset email containing a link pointing to an attacker-controlled domain, enabling token theft and account takeover. This issue is fixed in version 4.0.0-beta.471. |
| MCO is vulnerable to Account Denial of Service due to improper implementation of password reset functionality. Each password reset request invalidates previously set password as well as previously issued temporary passwords, furthermore, password resets are not limited in any way. An attacker who provides victim's email and answer to their security question, can successfully initiate the reset process and continuously invalidate credentials, effectively locking the victim out of their account. Answering security questions has a limited number of tries which lowers the risk of this vulnerability.
Because vendor contact attempts were unsuccessful, the vulnerability has only been confirmed in version 25.3.3.1 but may also affect other versions. |
