CVSS v3.1 |
| Wasmtime is a runtime for WebAssembly. Prior to version 38.0.4, 37.0.3, 36.0.3, and 24.0.5, Wasmtime's Rust embedder API contains an unsound interaction where a WebAssembly shared linear memory could be viewed as a type which provides safe access to the host (Rust) to the contents of the linear memory. This is not sound for shared linear memories, which could be modified in parallel, and this could lead to a data race in the host. Patch releases have been issued for all supported versions of Wasmtime, notably: 24.0.5, 36.0.3, 37.0.3, and 38.0.4. These releases reject creation of shared memories via `Memory::new` and shared memories are now excluded from core dumps. As a workaround, eembeddings affected by this issue should use `SharedMemory::new` instead of `Memory::new` to create shared memories. Affected embeddings should also disable core dumps if they are unable to upgrade. Note that core dumps are disabled by default but the wasm threads proposal (and shared memory) is enabled by default. |
| In plugins/HookSystem.cpp in Hyprland through 0.39.1 (before 28c8561), through a race condition, a local attacker can cause execution of arbitrary assembly code by writing to a predictable temporary file. |
| An issue was discovered in Atos Eviden IDRA before 2.7.1. A highly trusted role (Config Admin) could leverage a race condition to escalate privileges. |
| RISC Zero is a zero-knowledge verifiable general computing platform based on zk-STARKs and the RISC-V microarchitecture. RISC packages risc0-zkvm versions 2.0.0 through 2.1.0 and risc0-circuit-rv32im and risc0-circuit-rv32im-sys versions 2.0.0 through 2.0.4 contain vulnerabilities where signed integer division allows multiple outputs for certain inputs with only one being valid, and division by zero results are underconstrained. This issue is fixed in risc0-zkvm version 2.2.0 and version 3.0.0 for the risc0-circuit-rv32im and risc0-circuit-rv32im-sys packages. |
| A race condition vulnerability exists in MedusaJS Medusa v2.12.2 and earlier in the registerUsage() function of the promotion module. The function performs a non-atomic read-check-update operation when enforcing promotion usage limits. This allows unauthenticated remote attackers to bypass usage limits by sending concurrent checkout requests, resulting in unlimited redemptions of limited-use promotional codes and potential financial loss. |
| There exists a TOCTOU race condition in TvSettings AppRestrictionsFragment.java that lead to start of attacker supplied activity in Settings’ context, i.e. system-uid context, thus lead to launchAnyWhere. The core idea is to utilize the time window between the check of Intent and the use to Intent to change the target component’s state, thus bypass the original security sanitize function. |
| A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, has been found in COVESA vsomeip up to 3.4.10. Affected by this issue is some unknown functionality. The manipulation leads to race condition. An attack has to be approached locally. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The identifier of this vulnerability is VDB-261596. |
| The Security Ninja – WordPress Security Plugin & Firewall plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Read in all versions up to, and including, 5.242 via the 'get_file_source' function. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Administrator-level access and above, to extract sensitive data, including the contents of any file on the server. |
| Race condition, use-after-free in the Graphics: WebRender component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 149, Firefox ESR 115.34, Firefox ESR 140.9, Thunderbird 149, and Thunderbird 140.9. |
| Race in V8 in Google Chrome prior to 147.0.7727.55 allowed a remote attacker to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium) |
| Race in Media in Google Chrome on Android prior to 147.0.7727.55 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to corrupt media stream metadata via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Low) |
| Divide by zero in Microsoft Graphics Component allows an unauthorized attacker to deny service locally. |
| Concurrent execution using shared resource with improper synchronization ('race condition') in Windows Kerberos allows an unauthorized attacker to bypass a security feature over a network. |
| Concurrent execution using shared resource with improper synchronization ('race condition') in Windows Device Association Service allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Concurrent execution using shared resource with improper synchronization ('race condition') in Windows Bluetooth RFCOM Protocol Driver allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Concurrent execution using shared resource with improper synchronization ('race condition') in Microsoft Graphics Component allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| OpenClaw before 2026.3.22 contains a policy bypass vulnerability where queued node actions are not revalidated against current command policy when delivered. Attackers can exploit stale allowlists or declarations that survive policy tightening to execute unauthorized commands. |
| The Intel EPT paging code uses an optimization to defer flushing of any cached
EPT state until the p2m lock is dropped, so that multiple modifications done
under the same locked region only issue a single flush.
Freeing of paging structures however is not deferred until the flushing is
done, and can result in freed pages transiently being present in cached state.
Such stale entries can point to memory ranges not owned by the guest, thus
allowing access to unintended memory regions. |
| Homarr is an open-source dashboard. Prior to 1.57.0, the user registration endpoint (/api/trpc/user.register) is vulnerable to a race condition that allows an attacker to create multiple user accounts from a single-use invite token. The registration flow performs three sequential database operations without a transaction: CHECK, CREATE, and DELETE. Because these operations are not atomic, concurrent requests can all pass the validation step (1) before any of them reaches the deletion step (3). This allows multiple accounts to be registered using a single invite token that was intended to be single-use. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.57.0. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
fork: defer linking file vma until vma is fully initialized
Thorvald reported a WARNING [1]. And the root cause is below race:
CPU 1 CPU 2
fork hugetlbfs_fallocate
dup_mmap hugetlbfs_punch_hole
i_mmap_lock_write(mapping);
vma_interval_tree_insert_after -- Child vma is visible through i_mmap tree.
i_mmap_unlock_write(mapping);
hugetlb_dup_vma_private -- Clear vma_lock outside i_mmap_rwsem!
i_mmap_lock_write(mapping);
hugetlb_vmdelete_list
vma_interval_tree_foreach
hugetlb_vma_trylock_write -- Vma_lock is cleared.
tmp->vm_ops->open -- Alloc new vma_lock outside i_mmap_rwsem!
hugetlb_vma_unlock_write -- Vma_lock is assigned!!!
i_mmap_unlock_write(mapping);
hugetlb_dup_vma_private() and hugetlb_vm_op_open() are called outside
i_mmap_rwsem lock while vma lock can be used in the same time. Fix this
by deferring linking file vma until vma is fully initialized. Those vmas
should be initialized first before they can be used. |
