CVSS v3.1 |
unstructured v.0.14.2 and before is vulnerable to XML External Entity (XXE) via the XMLParser.
Delta Electronics EIP Builder version 1.11 is vulnerable to a File Parsing XML External Entity Processing Information Disclosure Vulnerability.
Akamai CloudTest before 60 2025.06.02 (12988) allows file inclusion via XML External Entity (XXE) injection.
Lantronix Device installer is vulnerable to XML external entity (XXE) attacks in configuration files read from the network device. An attacker could obtain credentials, access these network devices, and modify their configurations. An attacker may also gain access to the host running the Device Installer software or the password hash of the user running the application.
NovaRad NovaPACS Diagnostics Viewer 8.5.19.75 contains an unauthenticated XML External Entity (XXE) injection vulnerability in XML preference import settings. Attackers can craft malicious XML files with DTD parameter entities to retrieve arbitrary system files through an out-of-band channel attack.
A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, has been found in crmeb_java up to 1.3.4. Affected by this issue is the function webHook of the file WeChatMessageController.java. The manipulation leads to xml external entity reference. The attack may be launched remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used.
Kivitendo before 3.9.2 allows XXE injection. By uploading an electronic invoice in the ZUGFeRD format, it is possible to read and exfiltrate files from the server's filesystem.
| When the Kiuwan Local Analyzer uploads the scan results to the Kiuwan SAST web
application (either on-premises or cloud/SaaS solution), the transmitted data
consists of a ZIP archive containing several files, some of them in the
XML file format. During Kiuwan's server-side processing of these XML
files, it resolves external XML entities, resulting in a XML external
entity injection attack. An attacker with privileges to scan
source code within the "Code Security" module is able to extract any
files of the operating system with the rights of the application server
user and is potentially able to gain sensitive files, such as
configuration and passwords. Furthermore, this vulnerability also allows
an attacker to initiate connections to internal systems, e.g. for port
scans or accessing other internal functions / applications such as the
Wildfly admin console of Kiuwan.
This issue affects Kiuwan SAST: <master.1808.p685.q13371 |
Lantronix Provisioning Manager is vulnerable to XML external entity attacks in configuration files supplied by network devices, leading to unauthenticated remote code execution on hosts with Provisioning Manager installed.
Allure 2 is the version 2.x branch of Allure Report, a multi-language test reporting tool. A critical XML External Entity (XXE) vulnerability exists in the xunit-xml-plugin used by Allure 2 prior to version 2.34.1. The plugin fails to securely configure the XML parser (`DocumentBuilderFactory`) and allows external entity expansion when processing test result .xml files. This allows attackers to read arbitrary files from the file system and potentially trigger server-side request forgery (SSRF). Version 2.34.1 contains a patch for the issue.
Improper Restriction of XML External Entity Reference vulnerability in Jalios JPlatform allows XML Injection. This issue affects all versions of JPlatform 10 before 10.0.8 (SP8).
| The XML document processed in the GMS ECM URL endpoint is vulnerable to XML external entity (XXE) injection, potentially resulting in the disclosure of sensitive information.
This issue affects GMS: 9.3.4 and earlier versions.

The XWiki JIRA extension provides various integration points between XWiki and JIRA (macros, UI, CKEditor plugin). If the JIRA macro is installed, any logged in XWiki user could edit his/her user profile wiki page and use that JIRA macro, specifying a fake JIRA URL that returns an XML specifying a DOCTYPE pointing to a local file on the XWiki server host and displaying that file's content in one of the returned JIRA fields (such as the summary or description for example). The vulnerability has been patched in the JIRA Extension v8.6.5.
XML Notepad is a Windows program that provides a simple intuitive User Interface for browsing and editing XML documents. Prior to version 2.9.0.21, XML Notepad does not disable DTD processing by default which means external entities are resolved automatically. There is a well known attack related to malicious DTD files where an attacker to craft a malicious XML file that loads a DTD that causes XML Notepad to make outbound HTTP/SMB requests, potentially leaking local file contents or capturing the victim's NTLM credentials. This issue has been patched in version 2.9.0.21.
Geonetwork 3.10 through 4.2.0 contains an XML external entity vulnerability in PDF rendering that allows attackers to retrieve arbitrary files from the server. Attackers can exploit the insecure XML parser by crafting a malicious XML document with external entity references to read system files through the baseURL parameter in PDF creation requests.
Grav CMS v1.7.x and before is vulnerable to XML External Entity (XXE) through the SVG file upload functionality in the admin panel and File Manager plugin.
An issue was discovered in Zimbra Collaboration (ZCS) 10.0 and 10.1. An XML External Entity (XXE) vulnerability exists in the Zimbra Exchange Web Services (EWS) SOAP interface due to improper handling of XML input. An authenticated attacker can submit crafted XML data that is processed by an XML parser with external entity resolution enabled. Successful exploitation may allow disclosure of sensitive local files from the server.
OpenEMR is a free and open source electronic health records and medical practice management application. Prior to version 8.0.0.3, an authenticated user with access to the Carecoordination module can upload a crafted CCDA document containing `<xi:include href="file:///etc/passwd" parse="text"/>` to read arbitrary files from the server. Version 8.0.0.3 patches the issue.
Tolgee is an open-source localization platform. Prior to 3.166.3, the XML parsers used for importing Android XML resources (.xml) and .resx files don't disable external entity processing. An authenticated user who can import translation files into a project can exploit this to read arbitrary files from the server and make server-side requests to internal services. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.166.3.
Improper Restriction of XML External Entity Reference vulnerability in XMLUtils.java in Slovensko.Digital Autogram allows remote unauthenticated attacker to conduct SSRF (Server Side Request Forgery) attacks and obtain unauthorized access to local files on filesystems running the vulnerable application. Successful exploitation requires the victim to visit a specially crafted website that sends request containing a specially crafted XML document to /sign endpoint of the local HTTP server run by the application.
