DashboardsController::listTemplates() allowed a template when either: - its restrict_to_permission_flag matched one of the current user’s permission flags, or - restrict_to_permission_flag equaled integer 0 However, restrict_to_permission_flag is a varchar. MySQL therefore performed numeric coercion when comparing the column against integer 0. Strings such as perm_site_admin convert numerically to zero, making expressions such as perm_site_admin = 0 evaluate true and causing the “unrestricted” branch to match permission-restricted templates as well. | Affected versions of MISP expose several state-changing controller actions without restricting them to POST. The affected actions are: - EventReportsController::purgeUnusedPictures() - NoticelistsController::enableNoticelist() - ServersController::removeOrphanedCorrelations() - WorkflowsController::rebuildRedis() The patch adds allowMethod(['post']) to each action, preventing them from being triggered through ordinary GET requests. For purgeUnusedPictures(), the corresponding UI previously used $.get(). The fix converts that request to POST and supplies X-CSRF-Token, while the controller enables header-only CSRF validation for that AJAX action. Because GET requests can be induced cross-origin through links, images, redirects, or navigation, accepting GET for these state-changing operations can let an attacker trigger them using the authenticated victim's session. | A security vulnerability exists in the Sealed Secrets controller's unauthenticated POST endpoints. By submitting a modified payload containing custom Go template logic in spec.template.data, an attacker with internal network access can abuse the handler as a decryption oracle to recover the full plaintext of any sealed secret. The POST /v1/verify and /v1/rotate handlers call Unseal() to decrypt target secrets, then render any Go templates found in spec.template.data.* using the decrypted payload as the evaluation context (pkg/apis/sealedsecrets/v1alpha1/sealedsecret_expansion.go). Errors encountered during template execution are directly reflected in the resulting HTTP response status codes. Missing AEAD label binding: the spec.template.data field is omitted from the AEAD authenticated-data label binding ciphertext to metadata. As a result, an attacker can copy a target's valid metadata and encryptedData verbatim, satisfying AEAD decryption and label validation, while freely replacing spec.template.data with arbitrary template logic. Side-channel oracle: template execution errors map directly to HTTP response codes. HTTP 200 (OK) indicates template execution succeeded; HTTP 409 (Conflict) indicates template execution failed (e.g. via {{ fail "..." }}). By injecting conditional statements such as {{ if eq (substr 0 1 .password) "S" }}ok{{ else }}{{ fail "x" }}{{ end }}, an attacker receives an HTTP 200 status when a character guess is correct and an HTTP 409 when it is incorrect. This differential response leaks one character-equality bit per request, allowing full secret extraction over successive queries. Attack vector & prerequisites: unauthenticated; requires network access to the controller's internal service port (:8080). Although this service is not exposed to the public internet by default, it is accessible to any pod within the Kubernetes cluster or via a kubectl port-forward connection. | ||||

Any network client that can reach the port can call tools/list, tools/call, resources/read, or prompts/get, causing registered handlers to run with server-side credentials and process privileges or disclose registered data. From 1.2.3 until 1.7.2, CommandValidator in src/praisonai-ts/src/cli/features/sandbox-executor.ts validates only the first whitespace-delimited executable against allowedCommands, then SandboxExecutor passes the complete command string to sh -c. A command beginning with an allowed executable can append a non-allowlisted command through shell metacharacters, causing arbitrary commands to run with the PraisonAI process privileges. Because the wrapped AI SDK executes tool handlers during generation, a callback that returns false records tool_rejected only after the denied tool has already produced side effects and populated toolResults.
