CVSS v3.1 |
A security flaw has been discovered in Tor up to 0.4.7.16/0.4.8.17. Impacted is an unknown function of the component Onion Service Descriptor Handler. Performing manipulation results in resource consumption. The attack may be initiated remotely. The attack's complexity is rated as high. The exploitability is considered difficult. Upgrading to version 0.4.8.18 and 0.4.9.3-alpha is recommended to address this issue. It is recommended to upgrade the affected component.
| On affected platforms running Arista EOS with OSPFv3 configured, a specially crafted packet can cause the OSFPv3 process to have high CPU utilization which may result in the OSFPv3 process being restarted. This may cause disruption in the OSFPv3 routes on the switch.
This issue was discovered internally by Arista and is not aware of any malicious uses of this issue in customer networks. |
An issue in SunOS Omnios v5.11 allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via repeatedly sending crafted TCP packets.
An issue was discovered on certain Nuki Home Solutions devices. By sending a malformed HTTP verb, it is possible to force a reboot of the device. This affects Nuki Bridge v1 before 1.22.0 and v2 before 2.13.2.
Minder is an open source Software Supply Chain Security Platform. Minder's Git provider is vulnerable to a denial of service from a maliciously configured GitHub repository. The Git provider clones users repositories using the `github.com/go-git/go-git/v5` library on lines `L55-L89`. The Git provider does the following on the lines `L56-L62`. First, it sets the `CloneOptions`, specifying the url, the depth etc. It then validates the options. It then sets up an in-memory filesystem, to which it clones and Finally, it clones the repository. The `(g *Git) Clone()` method is vulnerable to a DoS attack: A Minder user can instruct Minder to clone a large repository which will exhaust memory and crash the Minder server. The root cause of this vulnerability is a combination of the following conditions: 1. Users can control the Git URL which Minder clones, 2. Minder does not enforce a size limit to the repository, 3. Minder clones the entire repository into memory. This issue has been addressed in commit `7979b43` which has been included in release version v0.0.52. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
Uncontrolled Resource Consumption vulnerability in Progress MOVEit Transfer (AS2 module). This issue affects MOVEit Transfer: from 2025.0.0 before 2025.0.3, from 2024.1.0 before 2024.1.7, from 2023.1.0 before 2023.1.16.
Zimbra Collaboration (ZCS) before 9.0.0 Patch 46, 10.0.x before 10.0.15, and 10.1.x before 10.1.9 is vulnerable to a denial of service condition due to improper handling of excessive, comma-separated path segments in the Admin Console. An unauthenticated remote attacker can send specially crafted GET requests that trigger redundant processing and inflated responses. This leads to uncontrolled resource consumption, resulting in denial of service.
The etcd package distributed with the Red Hat OpenStack platform has an incomplete fix for CVE-2022-41723. This issue occurs because the etcd package in the Red Hat OpenStack platform is using http://golang.org/x/net/http2 instead of the one provided by Red Hat Enterprise Linux versions, meaning it should be updated at compile time instead.
An issue was discovered in Prevx v3.0.5.220 allowing attackers to cause a denial of service via sending IOCTL code 0x22E044 to the pxscan.sys driver. Any processes listed under registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\pxscan\Files will be terminated.
The Ruby SAML library is for implementing the client side of a SAML authorization. In versions 1.18.0 and below, a denial-of-service vulnerability exists in ruby-saml even with the message_max_bytesize setting configured. The vulnerability occurs because the SAML response is validated for Base64 format prior to checking the message size, leading to potential resource exhaustion. This is fixed in version 1.18.1.
An issue in the Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) stack of Realtek RTL8762E BLE SDK v1.4.0 allows attackers within Bluetooth range to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via sending a specific sequence of crafted control packets.
Hardware logic with insecure de-synchronization in Intel(R) DSA and Intel(R) IAA for some Intel(R) 4th or 5th generation Xeon(R) processors may allow an authorized user to potentially enable escalation of privilege local access
An issue discovered in H3C Magic R365 and H3C Magic R100 routers allows attackers to hijack TCP sessions which could lead to a denial of service.
Cattown is a JavaScript markdown parser. Versions prior to 1.0.2 used regular expressions with inefficient, potentially exponential worst-case complexity. This could cause excessive CPU usage due to excessive backtracking on crafted inputs. In turn, the excessive CPU usage could lead to resource exhaustion, where processing malicious inputs could cause high CPU or memory usage, potentially leading to denial of service. Version 1.0.2 contains a patch. Additionally, users should review and restrict input sources if untrusted inputs are processed.
Incorrect access control in the Kafka Connect REST API in the STRIMZI Project 0.41.0 and earlier allows an attacker to deny the service for Kafka Mirroring, potentially mirror the topics' content to his Kafka cluster via a malicious connector (bypassing Kafka ACL if it exists), and potentially steal Kafka SASL credentials, by querying the MirrorMaker Kafka REST API.
MANTRA is a purpose-built RWA Layer 1 Blockchain, capable of adherence to real world regulatory requirements. Versions 4.0.1 and below do not enforce the tx gas limit in its send hooks. Send hooks can spend more gas than what remains in tx, combined with recursive calls in the wasm contract, potentially amplifying the gas consumption exponentially. This is fixed in version 4.0.2.
Abacus is a highly scalable and stateless counting API. A critical goroutine leak vulnerability has been identified in the Abacus server's Server-Sent Events (SSE) implementation. The issue occurs when clients disconnect from the /stream endpoint, as the server fails to properly clean up resources and terminate associated goroutines. This leads to resource exhaustion where the server continues running but eventually stops accepting new SSE connections while maintaining high memory usage. The vulnerability specifically involves improper channel cleanup in the event handling mechanism, causing goroutines to remain blocked indefinitely. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.4.0.
The Minify HTML plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Regular Expression Denial of Service (ReDoS) in all versions up to, and including, 2.1.10. This is due to processing user-supplied input as a regular expression. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to create comments that can cause catastrophic backtracking and break pages.
The multiScan and picoScan are vulnerable to a denial-of-service (DoS) attack. A remote attacker can exploit this vulnerability by conducting a Slowloris-type attack, causing the web page to become unresponsive.
An authenticated attacker can compromise the availability of the device via the network
