A remote code execution vulnerability in System UI component could enable an attacker using a specially crafted file to execute arbitrary code within the context of an unprivileged process. This issue is rated as High because it is a remote arbitrary code execution in an unprivileged process. Product: Android. Versions: 7.1.1, 7.1.2. Android ID: A-36368305.
Windows Shell in Windows Server 2008 SP2 and R2 SP1, Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2012 Gold and R2, Windows RT 8.1, Windows 10 Gold, 1511, 1607, 1703, and Windows Server 2016 allows a remote code execution vulnerability due to the way it improperly handles executable files and shares during rename operations, aka "Windows Explorer Remote Code Execution Vulnerability".
A "Cisco WebEx Network Recording Player Remote Code Execution Vulnerability" exists in Cisco WebEx Network Recording Player for Advanced Recording Format (ARF) and WebEx Recording Format (WRF) files. A remote attacker could exploit this by providing a user with a malicious ARF or WRF file via email or URL and convincing the user to launch the file. Exploitation of this could cause an affected player to crash and, in some cases, could allow arbitrary code execution on the system of a targeted user. Cisco Bug IDs: CSCvf38060, CSCvg54836, CSCvf38077, CSCvg54843, CSCvf38084, CSCvg54850.
A remote code execution vulnerability in the Framesequence library could enable an attacker using a specially crafted file to execute arbitrary code in the context of an unprivileged process. This issue is rated as High due to the possibility of remote code execution in an application that uses the Framesequence library. Product: Android. Versions: 5.0.2, 5.1.1, 6.0, 6.0.1, 7.0, 7.1. Android ID: A-32338390.
A remote code execution vulnerability exists when Internet Explorer improperly accesses objects in memory, aka "Internet Explorer Memory Corruption Vulnerability." This CVE ID is unique from CVE-2017-0222.
X-Cart 5.2.23, 5.3.1.9, 5.3.2.13, and 5.3.3 is vulnerable to Remote Code Execution. This vulnerability exists because the application fails to check remote file extensions before saving locally. This vulnerability can be exploited by anyone with Vendor access or higher. One attack methodology is to upload an image file in the Attachments section of a product catalog, upload a .php file with an "Add File Via URL" action, and change the image's Description URL to reference the .php URL in the attachments/ directory.
A remote code execution vulnerability exists in the way affected Microsoft scripting engines render when handling objects in memory in Microsoft browsers. These vulnerabilities could corrupt memory in such a way that an attacker could execute arbitrary code in the context of the current user. An attacker who successfully exploited the vulnerability could gain the same user rights as the current user. If the current user is logged on with administrative user rights, an attacker who successfully exploited the vulnerability could take control of an affected system. An attacker could then install programs; view, change, or delete data; or create new accounts with full user rights. This vulnerability is different from those described in CVE-2017-0010, CVE-2017-0015, CVE-2017-0032, CVE-2017-0035, CVE-2017-0067, CVE-2017-0070, CVE-2017-0071, CVE-2017-0094, CVE-2017-0131, CVE-2017-0132, CVE-2017-0133, CVE-2017-0134, CVE-2017-0136, CVE-2017-0137, CVE-2017-0138, CVE-2017-0150, and CVE-2017-0151.
An Insufficient Entropy issue was discovered in LOYTEC LVIS-3ME versions prior to 6.2.0. The application does not utilize sufficiently random number generation for the web interface authentication mechanism, which could allow remote code execution.
A remote code execution vulnerability in the Broadcom Wi-Fi firmware could enable a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code within the context of the Wi-Fi SoC. This issue is rated as Critical due to the possibility of remote code execution in the context of the Wi-Fi SoC. Product: Android. Versions: Kernel-3.10, Kernel-3.18. Android ID: A-34199105. References: B-RB#110814.
A remote code execution vulnerability in libavc in Mediaserver could enable an attacker using a specially crafted file to cause memory corruption during media file and data processing. This issue is rated as Critical due to the possibility of remote code execution within the context of the Mediaserver process. Product: Android. Versions: 6.0, 6.0.1, 7.0, 7.1.1. Android ID: A-33934721.
Android ID: A-33641588.
A Stack-based Buffer Overflow issue was discovered in Schneider Electric InduSoft Web Studio v8.0 SP2 Patch 1 and prior versions, and InTouch Machine Edition v8.0 SP2 Patch 1 and prior versions. The stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability has been identified, which may allow remote code execution with high privileges.
In cellular modem firmware, there is a possible out of bounds read due to a missing bounds check. This could lead to remote code execution with LTE authentication needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.Product: AndroidVersions: Android kernelAndroid ID: A-240462530References: N/A
In the Pixel cellular firmware, there is a possible out of bounds write due to a missing bounds check. This could lead to remote code execution with LTE authentication needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.Product: AndroidVersions: Android kernelAndroid ID: A-238914868References: N/A
In SetDecompContextDb of RohcDeCompContextOfRbId.cpp, there is a possible out of bounds write due to a missing bounds check. This could lead to remote code execution with System execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.Product: AndroidVersions: Android kernelAndroid ID: A-219265339References: N/A
In Source of ZipFile.java, there is a possible way for an attacker to execute arbitrary code by manipulating Dynamic Code Loading due to improper input validation. This could lead to remote code execution with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
In Modem IMS Stack, there is a possible out of bounds write due to a missing bounds check. This could lead to remote code execution with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. Patch ID: MOLY01161803; Issue ID: MOLY01161803 (MSV-893).
Studio-42 eLfinder 2.1.62 is vulnerable to Remote Code Execution (RCE) as there is no restriction for uploading files with the .php8 extension.
Camaleon CMS is a dynamic and advanced content management system based on Ruby on Rails. An arbitrary file write vulnerability accessible via the upload method of the MediaController allows authenticated users to write arbitrary files to any location on the web server Camaleon CMS is running on (depending on the permissions of the underlying filesystem). E.g. This can lead to a delayed remote code execution in case an attacker is able to write a Ruby file into the config/initializers/ subfolder of the Ruby on Rails application. This issue has been addressed in release version 2.8.2. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
The vulnerability allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to perform a Denial-of-Service (DoS) attack or, possibly, obtain Remote Code Execution (RCE) via a crafted network request.
