| A flaw was found in libsolv, a dependency-resolution library used by RPM-based package managers such as dnf and zypper to work with .solv repository cache files. When libsolv rewrites a .solv cache file, it reads directory-id values from the file's compressed filelist data without validating that they fall within the expected range. A corrupted or specially crafted .solv cache file (for example, one left in a torn state after an unclean system shutdown) can cause an out-of-bounds memory write when a tool such as dnf, yum, or zypper next processes it. Successful exploitation is expected to result in a crash of the affected tool (denial of service); it is not expected to allow arbitrary code execution because the out-of-bounds write always stores a fixed, non-attacker-controlled value. | ||||

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: char: tlclk: fix use-after-free in tlclk_cleanup() This patch improves the module cleanup process in the tlclk driver to prevent potential use-after-free and race conditions. Currently, the file_operations structure does not specify the .owner field, which could allow the module to be unloaded while user-space processes are still interacting with the device. Additionally, the tlclk_cleanup() function frees the alarm_events memory before ensuring that blocked processes in the waitqueue are fully awakened and that the switchover_timer has completed. To address these cases, this patch: - Sets '.owner = THIS_MODULE' in tlclk_fops to safely defer module unloading while the device is in use. - Updates tlclk_cleanup() to explicitly wake up all blocked readers (wake_up_all), properly release hardware I/O regions, and safely delete the timer (timer_delete_sync) prior to freeing memory. | ||||

| An attacker that holds a token intended for a different purpose can authenticate, because when an OAuth2 token response does not contain a scope claim, the audience claim is used in its place and checked against the configured required scopes. These are different concepts, and the audience claim does not describe what a token is allowed to do. A token that grants no relevant permissions can be accepted because its intended recipient value happens to match a configured scope name, granting access that should have been denied. It also hides an identity provider misconfiguration where scopes are not being issued at all. Ensure the identity provider issues a scope claim for all tokens used with Dovecot, and that configured scope names do not match audience values. Update to non-vulnerable version.
