CVSS v3.1 |
| Incorrect default permissions for some Intel(R) Graphics Driver software installers may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access. |
| The Datadog Agent collects events and metrics from hosts and sends them to Datadog. A vulnerability within the Datadog Linux Host Agent versions 7.65.0 through 7.70.2 exists due to insufficient permissions being set on the `opt/datadog-agent/python-scripts/__pycache__` directory during installation. Code in this directory is only run by the Agent during Agent install/upgrades. This could allow an attacker with local access to modify files in this directory, which would then subsequently be run when the Agent is upgraded, resulting in local privilege escalation. This issue requires local access to the host and a valid low privilege account to be vulnerable. Note that this vulnerability only impacts the Linux Host Agent. Other variations of the Agent including the container, kubernetes, windows host and other agents are not impacted. Version 7.71.0 contains a patch for the issue. |
| The application Faronics WINSelect (Standard + Enterprise) saves its configuration in an encrypted file on the file system which "Everyone" has read and write access to, path to file:
C:\ProgramData\WINSelect\WINSelect.wsd
The path for the affected WINSelect Enterprise configuration file is:
C:\ProgramData\Faronics\StorageSpace\WS\WINSelect.wsd |
| In ICMPv6 Neighbor Discovery (ND), the ID is always 0. When pf is configured to allow ND and block incoming Echo Requests, a crafted Echo Request packet after a Neighbor Solicitation (NS) can trigger an Echo Reply. The packet has to come from the same host as the NS and have a zero as identifier to match the state created by the Neighbor Discovery and allow replies to be generated.
ICMPv6 packets with identifier value of zero bypass firewall rules written on the assumption that the incoming packets are going to create a state in the state table. |
| An issue was discovered in Lush 2 through 2020-02-25. Due to the lack of Bluetooth traffic encryption, it is possible to hijack an ongoing Bluetooth connection between the Lush 2 and a mobile phone. This allows an attacker to gain full control over the device. |
| Omnissa Horizon Client for macOS contains a Local privilege escalation (LPE) Vulnerability due to a flaw in the installation process. Successful exploitation of this issue may allow attackers with user privileges to escalate their privileges to root on the system where the Horizon Client for macOS is installed. |
| Tabby (formerly Terminus) is a highly configurable terminal emulator. Prior to 1.0.216, Tabby terminal emulator contains overly permissive entitlements that are unnecessary for its core functionality and plugin system, creating potential security vulnerabilities. The application currently holds powerful permissions including camera, microphone access, and the ability to access personal folders (Downloads, Documents, etc.) through Apple Events, while also maintaining dangerous entitlements that enable code injection. The concerning entitlements are com.apple.security.cs.allow-dyld-environment-variables and com.apple.security.cs.disable-library-validation. Since Tabby's plugins and themes are NodeJS-based without native libraries or frameworks, and no environment variables are used in the codebase, it is recommended to review and remove at least one of the entitlements (com.apple.security.cs.disable-library-validation or com.apple.security.cs.allow-dyld-environment-variables) to prevent DYLD_INSERT_LIBRARIES injection while maintaining full application functionality. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.0.216. |
| An incorrect default permissions vulnerability was reported in the MotoSignature application that could result in unauthorized access. |
| ETERNUS SF provided by Fsas Technologies Inc. contains an incorrect default permissions vulnerability. A low-privileged user with access to the management server may obtain database credentials, potentially allowing execution of OS commands with administrator privileges. |
| An issue in Owncloud android apk v.4.3.1 allows a physically proximate attacker to escalate privileges via the PassCodeViewModel class, specifically in the checkPassCodeIsValid method |
| The seffaflik thru 0.0.9 is vulnerable to symlink attacks due to incorrect default permissions given to the .kimlik file and .seffaflik file, which is created with mode 0777 and 0775 respectively, exposing secrets to other local users. Additionally, the .kimlik file is written without symlink checks, allowing local attackers to overwrite arbitrary files. This can result in information disclosure and denial of service. |
| Exposure of Sensitive Information to an Unauthorized Actor vulnerability was discovered in Open Design Alliance CDE inWEB SDK before 2025.3. Installing CDE Server with default settings allows unauthorized users to visit prometheus metrics page. This can allow attackers to understand more things about the target application which may help in further investigation and exploitation. |
| When installing Nessus Agent to a non-default location on a Windows host, Nessus Agent versions prior to 10.8.3 did not enforce secure permissions for sub-directories. This could allow for local privilege escalation if users had not secured the directories in the non-default installation location. |
| A flaw was found in Keycloak. This issue occurs due to improperly enforcing token types when validating signatures locally. This could allow an authenticated attacker to exchange a logout token for an access token and possibly gain access to data outside of enforced permissions. |
| NVIDIA Project G-Assist contains a vulnerability where an attacker might be able to escalate permissions. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to code execution, escalation of privileges, data tampering, denial of service, and information disclosure. |
| Incorrect Default Permissions vulnerability in Centreon Infra Monitoring (MBI modules) allows Embedding Scripts within Scripts by CentreonBI user account on the MBI server This issue affects Infra Monitoring: from 24.10.0 before 24.10.6, from 24.04.0 before 24.04.9, from 23.10.0 before 23.10.15. |
| grub2 allowed attackers with access to the grub shell to access files on the encrypted disks. |
| A Privilege Context Switching Error (CWE-270) in the Command Center Server could allow a privileged Operator with high level access in one Division to perform limited privileged activities across the Division boundary.
This issue affects Command Centre Server:
9.30 prior to 9.30.1874 (MR1), 9.20 prior to 9.20.2337 (MR3), 9.10 prior to 9.10.3194 (MR6), 9.00 prior to 9.00.3371 (MR7), all versions of 8.90 and prior. |
| Incorrect Default Permissions vulnerability in MongoDB Atlas SQL ODBC driver on Windows allows Privilege Escalation. This issue affects MongoDB Atlas SQL ODBC driver: from 1.0.0 through 2.0.0. |
| During the AWS Client VPN client installation on Windows devices, the install process references the C:\usr\local\windows-x86_64-openssl-localbuild\ssl directory location to fetch the OpenSSL configuration file. As a result, a non-admin user could place arbitrary code in the configuration file. If an admin user starts the AWS Client VPN client installation process, that code could be executed with root-level privileges. This issue does not affect Linux or Mac devices.
We recommend users discontinue any new installations of AWS Client VPN on Windows prior to version 5.2.2. |
