| A flaw was found in hawtio-operator. When a custom Route TLS secret is configured and the operator runs at debug log level 1 or higher, the entire Route object — including the TLS private key in PEM format — is serialized to JSON and written to the operator's standard output. Operator logs are typically forwarded to centralized logging systems and readable by anyone with pods/log access in the openshift-operators namespace. Debug level 1 is a low threshold commonly enabled during troubleshooting. |
| A flaw was found in hawtio-operator. The operator holds routes/custom-host:create permission cluster-wide and writes the tenant-supplied spec.routeHostName value from the Hawtio custom resource directly into the Route spec without validation or authorization checks. A namespace edit user, who normally cannot set custom Route hostnames, can use the operator as a confused deputy to claim arbitrary externally-routable hostnames, enabling subdomain takeover and, in combination with the auto-grant OAuthClient, OAuth redirect hijack. |
| moment is a JavaScript date library for parsing, validating, manipulating, and formatting dates. In versions 2.29.2 through 2.30.1, a specially crafted non-string object passed to moment.locale() can bypass the locale-name path-traversal guard. The guard assumes the input is a string, so an object whose match() method satisfies the check while its toString() returns a traversal path reaches an internal require() call with attacker-controlled path segments. This is an incomplete fix for CVE-2022-24785 and primarily affects npm (server-side) users that pass user-provided input directly to moment.locale(). The issue is fixed in moment 2.31.0, and users should upgrade to 2.31.0 or later. As a workaround, validate that any user-supplied input is a string before passing it to moment.locale(). |
| An interface that accepts file uploads from authenticated users extracts the contents of uploaded archives without validating that extracted file paths remain within the intended destination directory. This allows an authenticated attacker to craft an archive whose entries traverse outside the destination directory, causing the extraction process to write files to arbitrary locations with the privileges of that process. This could allow an attacker to inject fabricated records into the system's stored data or tamper with application configuration. |
| An application programming interface endpoint accepts a user-supplied value and interpolates it directly into the path of a backend request to the underlying search and analytics data store, without restricting its contents. This allows an authenticated attacker to substitute an arbitrary backend path, causing the application's own elevated service credentials to be used against unintended internal endpoints. This could allow an attacker to enumerate or read internal configuration and administrative data from the backend data store that would otherwise be restricted. |
| When a particular authentication mode is configured, the reverse proxy forwards requests for a bundled third-party administrative interface directly to that interface without applying the gateway's own authentication requirement first. All access control for this administrative interface, which manages the credential store used to gate every other service in the deployment, is delegated entirely to that third-party interface's own login mechanism. Any authentication weakness in that bundled interface would compromise the credential store protecting the rest of the deployment. |
| The administrative password is hashed using a comparatively weak, fast algorithm for the credential store backing one authentication path, and the file containing that hash is written with permissions allowing it to be read by any local user. This is inconsistent with a separate, stronger hashing algorithm used for the same password on another authentication path. A party able to read this file, including a local user or a party with access to a configuration backup, could feasibly recover the underlying password through offline computation, compromising the administrative credential across every path that accepts it. |
| Skipper is an HTTP router and reverse proxy for service composition. Prior to 0.27.35, the opaAuthorizeRequestWithBody filter in filters/openpolicyagent/openpolicyagent.go can allow an oversized declared Content-Length request to bypass a deny-on-presence Rego policy because ExtractHttpBodyOptionally leaves OPA with an empty parsed_body while forwarding the complete request body upstream. This incomplete remediation of CVE-2026-50197 affects deployments that authorize request-body content and exceed -open-policy-agent-max-request-body-size, which defaults to 1 MB. Policy logic that does not reject input.attributes.request.http.truncated_body can therefore fail open and permit a forbidden payload to reach the protected service, while small bodies and the previously fixed chunked-body case are evaluated normally. This issue is fixed in version 0.27.35. |

| The Eventin – Event Calendar, Tickets, Registration, Booking & WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 4.1.23. This is due to the `PermissionManager::manage_permissions()` function being registered as a callback on WordPress core's `map_meta_cap` filter and unconditionally returning the always-true `'exist'` primitive for every capability check whenever the evaluated user ID is 1, without scoping this behavior to plugin-specific capabilities. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers whose account is user ID 1, even subscribers, to pass every WordPress capability check, including `manage_options`, `edit_plugins`, `edit_themes`, `promote_users`, and `update_core`, thereby elevating their privileges to administrator-equivalent power and achieving full site takeover, including remote code execution via the plugin and theme editors. Exploitation is only impactful when user ID 1 has been deliberately demoted to a lower-privilege role as a common administrator-account hardening practice; on default installations where user ID 1 retains the administrator role, no incremental privilege gain occurs. |

| The AI Engine – The Chatbot, AI Framework & MCP for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in all versions up to, and including, 3.7.7 via the 'mediaId' parameter due to missing validation on a user controlled key. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to access and retrieve the transcribed contents of private audio attachments belonging to other users, including Administrators, via a supplied attachment ID. This vulnerability requires the Public API module to be enabled in the plugin settings; when disabled, the REST route is absent and the endpoint returns HTTP 404. |
| When a libcurl-based application performs transfers via `SCP://` or `SFTP://`
and utilizes the `CURLOPT_SSH_KEYFUNCTION` callback, it may silently accept an
untrusted server. This vulnerability occurs when a server presents a host key
type that does not match the specific key type already recorded for that host
in the `known_hosts` file. Instead of rejecting the mismatch, the callback
mechanism fails to properly enforce the restriction, allowing the connection
to succeed without warning and risking a potential man-in-the-middle attack. |
| A vulnerability in libcurl caused the HTTP `Referer:` header to persist even
when explicitly cleared. While the documentation states that passing NULL to
`CURLOPT_REFERER` suppresses the header, the option failed to clear the
internal state. As a result, the previous referrer string was erroneously
reused and sent in subsequent requests, potentially leaking sensitive
information to unintended servers. |
| In this scenario, libcurl first uses a proper HTTP/3 server for the initial
transfers, and when it makes a second transfer to the same site it has been
replaced by the attacker's impostor machine - without a valid certificate.
When libcurl returns to the hostname the second time with a cached SSL session
(`CURLOPT_SSL_SESSIONID_CACHE` is not disabled) and early data enabled (the
`CURLSSLOPT_EARLYDATA` bit is set in `CURLOPT_SSL_OPTIONS`), libcurl might
send off the second request's bytes on that new connection *before* enforcing
the certificate verification failure. Potentially leaking sensitive
information. |
| libcurl would reuse a previously created connection even when some mTLS config
related option had been changed that should have prohibited reuse.
libcurl keeps previously used connections in a connection pool for subsequent
transfers to reuse if one of them matches the setup. However, some TLS
settings related to client certificates were left out from the configuration
match checks, making them match too easily. In particular options related to
the private key. |
| When asking curl to use a `.netrc` file to find credentials and at the same
time specifying a URL with a username (without a password), like
`https://user@example.com/`, curl could wrongly get and use the password for
*another* user set in the `.netrc` file for that host if such a one exists and
there is no match for the specified user. |
| A flaw in curl’s cookie parsing logic allows a malicious HTTP server to set
"super cookies" that bypass the Public Suffix List check. This enables an
attacker-controlled origin to inject cookies that curl subsequently scopes and
transmits to unrelated third-party domains. |
| libcurl might in some circumstances reuse the wrong connection when asked to
do Negotiate-authenticated ones, even when they are set to use different
"services".
libcurl features a pool of recent connections so that subsequent requests can
reuse an existing connection to avoid overhead.
When reusing a connection a range of criteria must be met. Due to a logical
error in the code, a request that was issued by an application could
wrongfully reuse an existing connection to the same server that was
authenticated using different services. |
| When asked to both use a `.netrc` file for credentials and to follow HTTP
redirects, libcurl could leak the password used for the first host to the
followed-to host under certain circumstances. |
