CVSS v3.1 |
Certain Cypress (and Broadcom) Wireless Combo chips, when a January 2021 firmware update is not present, allow memory access via a "Spectra" attack.
SCRAM (Salted Challenge Response Authentication Mechanism) is part of the family of Simple Authentication and Security Layer (SASL, RFC 4422) authentication mechanisms. Prior to version 3.2, a timing attack vulnerability exists in the SCRAM Java implementation. The issue arises because Arrays.equals was used to compare secret values such as client proofs and server signatures. Since Arrays.equals performs a short-circuit comparison, the execution time varies depending on how many leading bytes match. This behavior could allow an attacker to perform a timing side-channel attack and potentially infer sensitive authentication material. All users relying on SCRAM authentication are impacted. This vulnerability has been patched in version 3.1 by replacing Arrays.equals with MessageDigest.isEqual, which ensures constant-time comparison.
| User names used to access the web management interface are limited to
the device identifier, which is a numerical identifier no more than 10
digits. A malicious actor can enumerate potential targets by
incrementing or decrementing from known identifiers or through
enumerating random digit sequences. |
Zulip is an open source team chat application. A weekly cron job (added in 50256f48314250978f521ef439cafa704e056539) demotes channels to being "inactive" after they have not received traffic for 180 days. However, upon doing so, an event was sent to all users in the organization, not just users in the channel. This event contained the name of the private channel. Similarly, the same commit (50256f48314250978f521ef439cafa704e056539) added functionality to notify clients when channels stopped being "inactive." The first message sent to a private channel which had not previously had any messages for over 180 days (and were thus already marked "inactive") would leak an event to all users in the organization; this event also contained the name of the private channel. Commits 75be449d456d29fef27e9d1828bafa30174284b4 and a2a1a7f8d152296c8966f1380872c0ac69e5c87e fixed the issue. This vulnerability only existed in `main`, and was not part of any published versions.
CWE-200 Exposure of Sensitive Information to an Unauthorized Actor
Due to an incomplete fix to CVE-2022-31629 https://github.com/advisories/GHSA-c43m-486j-j32p , network and same-site attackers can set a standard insecure cookie in the victim's browser which is treated as a __Host- or __Secure- cookie by PHP applications.
Polycom RealPresence Group 500 <=20 has Insecure Permissions due to automatically loaded cookies. This allows for the use of administrator functions, resulting in the leakage of sensitive user information.
An Improper Input Validation in EdgeMAX EdgeSwitch (Version 1.10.4 and earlier) could allow a Command Injection by a malicious actor with access to EdgeSwitch adjacent network.
Raven is an open-source messaging platform. A vulnerability allowed any logged in user to execute code via an API endpoint. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.1.10.
The Bare Metal Operator (BMO) implements a Kubernetes API for managing bare metal hosts in Metal3. Baremetal Operator enables users to load Secret from arbitrary namespaces upon deployment of the namespace scoped Custom Resource `BMCEventSubscription`. Prior to versions 0.8.1 and 0.9.1, an adversary Kubernetes account with only namespace level roles (e.g. a tenant controlling a namespace) may create a `BMCEventSubscription` in his authorized namespace and then load Secrets from his unauthorized namespaces to his authorized namespace via the Baremetal Operator, causing Secret Leakage. The patch makes BMO refuse to read Secrets from other namespace than where the corresponding BMH resource is. The patch does not change the `BMCEventSubscription` API in BMO, but stricter validation will fail the request at admission time. It will also prevent the controller reading such Secrets, in case the BMCES CR has already been deployed. The issue exists for all versions of BMO, and is patched in BMO releases v0.9.1 and v0.8.1. Prior upgrading to patched BMO version, duplicate any existing Secret pointed to by `BMCEventSubscription`'s `httpHeadersRef` to the same namespace where the corresponding BMH exists. After upgrade, remove the old Secrets. As a workaround, the operator can configure BMO RBAC to be namespace scoped, instead of cluster scoped, to prevent BMO from accessing Secrets from other namespaces, and/or use `WATCH_NAMESPACE` configuration option to limit BMO to single namespace.
WordPress Core is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in versions up to, and including, 6.4.3 via the redirect_guess_404_permalink function. This can allow unauthenticated attackers to expose the slug of a custom post whose 'publicly_queryable' post status has been set to 'false'.
The AuthKit library for React Router 7+ provides helpers for authentication and session management using WorkOS & AuthKit with React Router. In versions 0.6.1 and below, @workos-inc/authkit-react-router exposed sensitive authentication artifacts — specifically sealedSession and accessToken by returning them from the authkitLoader. This caused them to be rendered into the browser HTML. This issue is fixed in version 0.7.0.
Bible Module is a tool designed for ROBLOX developers to integrate Bible functionality into their games. The `FetchVerse` and `FetchPassage` functions in the Bible Module are susceptible to injection attacks due to the absence of input validation. This vulnerability could allow an attacker to manipulate the API request URLs, potentially leading to unauthorized access or data tampering. This issue has been addressed in version 0.0.3. All users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
A vulnerability was found in FunAudioLLM InspireMusic up to bf32364bcb0d136497ca69f9db622e9216b029dd. It has been classified as critical. Affected is the function load_state_dict of the file inspiremusic/cli/model.py of the component Pickle Data Handler. The manipulation leads to deserialization. An attack has to be approached locally. This product is using a rolling release to provide continious delivery. Therefore, no version details for affected nor updated releases are available. The name of the patch is 784cbf8dde2cf1456ff808aeba23177e1810e7a9. It is recommended to apply a patch to fix this issue.
conda-smithy is a tool for combining a conda recipe with configurations to build using freely hosted CI services into a single repository. Prior to version 3.47.1, the travis_encrypt_binstar_token implementation in the conda-smithy package has been identified as vulnerable to an Oracle Padding Attack. This vulnerability results from the use of an outdated and insecure padding scheme during RSA encryption. A malicious actor with access to an oracle system can exploit this flaw by iteratively submitting modified ciphertexts and analyzing responses to infer the plaintext without possessing the private key. This issue has been patched in version 3.47.1.
Flags SDK is an open-source feature flags toolkit for Next.js and SvelteKit. Impacted versions include flags from 3.2.0 and prior and @vercel/flags from 3.1.1 and prior as certain circumstances allows a bad actor with detailed knowledge of the vulnerability to list all flags returned by the flags discovery endpoint (.well-known/vercel/flags). This vulnerability allows for information disclosure, where a bad actor could gain access to a list of all feature flags exposed through the flags discovery endpoint, including the flag names, flag descriptions, available options and their labels (e.g. true, false), and default flag values. This issue has been patched in flags@4.0.0, users of flags and @vercel/flags should also migrate to flags@4.0.0.
Saleor is an e-commerce platform. Starting in version 3.21.0 and prior to version 3.21.16, requesting certain fields in the response of `accountRegister` may result in errors that could unintentionally reveal whether a user with the provided email already exists in Saleor. Version 3.21.16 fixes the issue. As a workaround, rate-limit the mutation to reduce the impact.
Autocaliweb is a web app that offers an interface for browsing, reading, and downloading eBooks using a valid Calibre database. Prior to version 0.8.3, the debug pack generated by Autocaliweb can expose sensitive configuration data, including API keys. This occurs because the to_dict() method, used to serialize configuration for the debug pack, doesn't adequately filter out sensitive fields such as API tokens. Users, unaware of the full contents, might share these debug packs, inadvertently leaking their private API keys. This issue has been patched in version 0.8.3.
Improper input validation in XmlCli feature for UEFI firmware for some Intel(R) processors may allow privileged user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access.
A vulnerability has been found in zlt2000 microservices-platform up to 6.0.0 and classified as problematic. This vulnerability affects unknown code of the file /actuator of the component Spring Actuator Interface. The manipulation leads to information disclosure. The attack can be initiated remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used.
