| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: flow_dissector: do not dissect PPPoE PFC frames RFC 2516 Section 7 states that Protocol Field Compression (PFC) is NOT RECOMMENDED for PPPoE. In practice, pppd does not support negotiating PFC for PPPoE sessions, and the flow dissector driver has assumed an uncompressed frame until the blamed commit. During the review process of that commit [1], support for PFC is suggested. However, having a compressed (1-byte) protocol field means the subsequent PPP payload is shifted by one byte, causing 4-byte misalignment for the network header and an unaligned access exception on some architectures. | jq is a command-line JSON processor. Prior to version 1.8.2, the _strindices builtin in jq's src/builtin.c passes its arguments directly to jv_string_indexes() without verifying they are strings, and jv_string_indexes() in src/jv.c relies solely on assert() checks that are stripped in release builds compiled with -DNDEBUG. This allows an attacker to crash jq trivially with input like _strindices(0), and by crafting a numeric value whose IEEE-754 bit pattern maps to a chosen pointer, achieve a controlled pointer dereference and limited memory read/probe primitive. Any deployment that evaluates untrusted jq filters against a release build is vulnerable. This issue has been patched in commit fdf8ef0f0810e3d365cdd5160de43db46f57ed03, which is part of version 1.8.2. | ||||

| async-tar is a tar archive reading/writing library for async Rust. Prior to version 0.6.1, async-tar mis-applies a buffered PAX size extension to an intermediary extension header (a GNU longname L, a GNU longlink K, or a PAX x/g header) instead of to the next file entry. POSIX requires a PAX extended-header record set to describe the next file entry, never an intervening extension header. Because poll_next_raw (src/archive.rs) threads the buffered PAX records into the size computation of whatever raw header it reads next — and that header can be an intermediary L — the stream cursor is advanced by an attacker-chosen amount when the L body is consumed. The parser then desyncs relative to a POSIX-correct tar parser (e.g. GNU tar), reading subsequent bytes at the wrong block boundary. This issue has been patched in version 0.6.1. | ||||

| fastify is a fast and low overhead web framework for Node.js. Versions of fastify before 5.12.1 are affected by a schema validation bypass when a request body schema targets a root primitive value. When the schema validates a top-level primitive such as an integer, Ajv can coerce a JSON string into the expected type during validation, but Fastify does not replace the root request body with the coerced value, so the route handler receives the original unvalidated string. As a result, a request that should have failed validation can reach application logic with a value that does not satisfy the schema, which can undermine integrity and access-control checks that rely on the validated type. Users should upgrade to fastify 5.12.1, which fixes the mismatch. No known workarounds are available. | ||||

| Klever-Go is the Go implementation of the Klever blockchain protocol. Prior to 1.7.19, processPercentageRoyaltiesTransfer in core/kapp/accounts/accounts.go calls SubFromBalance after the split loop and after the royaltiesToPay <= 0 early return. computeSplitRoyalties rejects only when splitToPay > royaltiesToPay, so a valid PercentTransferPercentage = 10000 split consumes exactly 100 percent of the royalty pool, sets royaltiesToPay to zero, and returns before the source account is debited. The split recipient receives the full royaltyAmount while the sender pays nothing and the supply counter is not updated, allowing unbounded off-the-books inflation of the transferred KDA. A KDA owner must configure a TransferPercentage royalty with a 100 percent split, after which any holder's transfer of the asset triggers the mint; the sibling processFixedRoyaltiesTransfer path is not affected because it debits the source before distribution. This issue is fixed in version 1.7.19. | ||||

| A flaw was found in the keycloak-services component of Keycloak. This issue is an incomplete fix for CVE-2026-9798, where brute-force protection checks were added to the Client-Initiated Backchannel Authentication (CIBA) initiation handler but were omitted from the token redemption handler. This allows an attacker with valid client credentials to obtain access and refresh tokens for a user account that has been locked due to brute-force protection, provided the authentication request was started before the lockout occurred and was approved by the user. | ||||
