CVSS v3.1 |
| Data::Intern::Shared versions before 0.02 for Perl create a world-readable mmap backing file and open it without O_EXCL or O_NOFOLLOW.
The segment is created in intern.h with open(path, O_RDWR|O_CREAT, 0666). The mode is 0666, so under the default umask 022 the file is created mode 0644 (world-readable). O_NOFOLLOW is absent, so a symlink planted at the path is followed, and O_EXCL is absent, so the open silently uses a pre-planted file instead of failing.
A "Shared" segment naturally lives in a shared directory such as /tmp or /dev/shm, where any local user can read the IPC payloads stored in the world-readable segment, and a pre-planted file or symlink at the path lets a local attacker win a pre-creation race or redirect the open. |

Vulnerability in the Oracle Commerce Guided Search Platform Services product of Oracle Commerce (component: Forge). The supported version that is affected is 11.4.0. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle Commerce Guided Search Platform Services. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all Oracle Commerce Guided Search Platform Services accessible data and unauthorized ability to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash (complete DOS) of Oracle Commerce Guided Search Platform Services. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 9.1 (Confidentiality and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:H).
Duplicati v2.3.0.1 backup software gives Authenticated Users MODIFY permissions that propagate to all subdirectories. Installing the software outside of the Program Files directory, or on a custom path, creates a LocalSystem service running from a directory that any standard local user can write to. A standard local user can overwrite any DLL in the service directory. On service restart, the OS loads the attacker's DLL before any managed code runs, executing arbitrary code as SYSTEM.
Vulnerability in the Oracle Product Lifecycle Analytics product of Oracle Supply Chain (component: Installation Issues). The supported version that is affected is 3.6.1. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with logon to the infrastructure where Oracle Product Lifecycle Analytics executes to compromise Oracle Product Lifecycle Analytics. While the vulnerability is in Oracle Product Lifecycle Analytics, attacks may significantly impact additional products (scope change). Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized creation, deletion or modification access to critical data or all Oracle Product Lifecycle Analytics accessible data as well as unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all Oracle Product Lifecycle Analytics accessible data. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 9.0 (Confidentiality and Integrity impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:N).
Vulnerability in the Oracle Succession planning product of Oracle E-Business Suite (component: Succession plan). Supported versions that are affected are 12.2.3-12.2.15. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle Succession planning. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized update, insert or delete access to some of Oracle Succession planning accessible data as well as unauthorized read access to a subset of Oracle Succession planning accessible data and unauthorized ability to cause a partial denial of service (partial DOS) of Oracle Succession planning. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 6.3 (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:L/A:L).
FileGator accepts arbitrary Unix permission values via the '/chmoditems' API endpoint and passes the value directly to PHP's native 'chmod()' function through 'octdec()' conversion, with no validation. This allows an authenticated user with 'chmod' permission to upgrade their privileges to root.
A non-administrator interactive user can obtain full SYSTEM code execution through a DCOM/task scheduler logic chain — no network access, no memory corruption required (ITMS 8.7.3)
ClearanceKit intercepts file-system access events on macOS and enforces per-process access policies. The ECDSA private key used to sign the on-disk policy database (`/Library/Application Support/clearancekit/store.db`) is stored in the macOS System Keychain. The key was created via the two-step pattern `SecKeyCreateRandomKey` (in-memory) followed by `SecItemAdd(kSecValueRef:, kSecAttrAccess:)` (persist). Prior to version 5.0.10, for `kSecClassKey` items in the legacy System Keychain, `kSecAttrAccess` passed to `SecItemAdd` is silently ignored — the persisted key inherits no ACL restriction. The same access builder applied to `kSecClassGenericPassword` items correctly binds the ACL, making this bug specific to the EC key. The result is that any process running as root can use the key to produce valid signatures over arbitrary policy content. Version 5.0.10 fixes the issue. No known workarounds are available. Disabling the system extension and manually removing the System Keychain item labelled `clearancekit policy signing key` would prevent the forged-signature path but also disables policy enforcement.
The Salon Booking System WordPress plugin before 10.30.20 does not have proper authorisation checks on one of its AJAX actions, allowing any authenticated user, such as a subscriber, to modify a Salon Booking System WordPress plugin before 10.30.20 setting and bypass the manual approval of new bookings.
Dell PowerProtect Data Domain, versions 7.7.1.0 through 8.6, LTS2026 release version 8.6.1.0 through 8.6.1.10, LTS2025 release version 8.3.1.0 through 8.3.1.30, LTS2024 release versions 7.13.1.0 through 7.13.1.70 contain an incorrect permission Assignment for critical resource vulnerability. A high privileged attacker with local access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to unauthorized access.
A flaw was found in the OpenShift Pipelines operator. The tekton-scheduler-rolebinding ClusterRoleBinding grants the system:authenticated group write access to Kueue and cert-manager custom resources via the tekton-scheduler-role ClusterRole. When Kueue or cert-manager CRDs are present on the cluster, any authenticated user can disrupt workload scheduling, tamper with scheduling priorities, delete other tenants' Workload objects, or induce cert-manager to overwrite TLS Secrets including the default ingress controller certificate.
Cilium is a networking, observability, and security solution. Prior to 1.17.14, 1.18.8, and 1.19.2, when Cilium L7 functionality is enabled, the embedded or standalone Envoy instance creates a world-accessible admin.sock on cluster nodes, allowing a local attacker to access Envoy admin endpoints, expose TLS secrets, disrupt cluster traffic, or terminate Envoy. This issue is fixed in versions 1.17.14, 1.18.8, and 1.19.2.
The decompress package for Node.js extracts archives. Prior to 10.2.1 and 11.1.3, archive extraction can create files and links outside the target directory. When extracting an archive to a directory, a crafted archive can read or write files outside that directory because hardlink and symlink entries are created without checking where targets point, path containment used a string prefix comparison, and file modes failed to remove setuid, setgid, or sticky bits. This issue is fixed in @xhmikosr/decompress versions 10.2.1 and 11.1.3.
A flaw was found in samba's pam_winbind. When mkhomedir is enabled, pam_winbind chowns the target account's home directory without validating the path is not a critical system directory such as /. On affected systems, accounts with / as their home directory (a common default for system accounts) can have this triggered not only by root, but by a non-root user holding a narrow sudo delegation to run commands as that account, causing ownership of / to change and resulting in severe denial of service (SSH, sudo, and package-manager failures). The change does not grant write access to / (which ships with restrictive 0555 permissions on RHEL), so the impact is availability loss rather than further privilege escalation.
Hermes WebUI before 0.51.521 validates the workspace of an imported session under the active named profile but constructs the Session object without setting its profile in the /api/session/import handler, so the imported session is persisted with a null profile. Because a null profile is treated as the default profile by the profile authorization check, a user on the default profile can export the imported session transcript and use its session identifier to read files from the named profile's workspace, defeating the application's profile isolation.
OpenClaw versions 2026.5.20 before 2026.6.6 contain an authorization bypass vulnerability in the MCP loopback feature that allows lower-trust callers to execute owner-only tools. Attackers can bypass authorization checks through configured input paths to execute or persist actions beyond their intended permissions.
OpenClaw versions 2026.5.20 before 2026.6.9 contain a privilege escalation vulnerability in plugin install commands that allows lower-trust callers to execute or persist actions beyond their intended authorization. Attackers can exploit misconfigured input paths or enabled features to escalate privileges and perform unauthorized actions when the feature is reachable.
Composer is a dependency Manager for the PHP language. Prior to 2.2.29 and 2.10.2, a Composer package bin entry containing .. path segments can resolve outside the package install directory and cause Composer's binary installation flow to chmod an existing host file to a world-readable and world-executable mode during composer install, update, or require. This issue is fixed in versions 2.2.29 and 2.10.2.
