CVE-2026-63140 1 Elastic 1 Elasticsearch 2026-07-23 6.5 Medium
Reachable Assertion (CWE-617) in Elasticsearch can lead to denial of service via Input Data Manipulation (CAPEC-153). A specially crafted search request containing a null value in a specific query clause causes an internal assertion to be raised during query parsing. Because Elasticsearch treats assertion failures as fatal errors, this terminates the affected node process. A low-privileged authenticated user with read access to at least one index can exploit this condition with a single request to cause a node to terminate, disrupting search availability. In a single-node deployment this fully stops Elasticsearch; in a multi-node cluster it reduces cluster capacity for each affected node.
CVE-2025-56362 2026-07-23 7.5 High
A reachable assertion vulnerability exists in the Matter SDK (connectedhomeip) before 1.4.2, specifically within the Level Control cluster's periodic server tick logic. When a MoveToLevel command is sent and immediately followed by a write of OperationMode=2 (in the Pump Configuration and Control cluster), the server tick function violates the assertion `currentLevel < maxLevel`, resulting in a crash. This can be exploited remotely without authentication to cause denial of service. Affected versions include 1.3 and 1.4 (commit ab3d5ae).
CVE-2025-56361 2026-07-23 7.5 High
A reachable assertion vulnerability exists in the Matter SDK (connectedhomeip) 1.3 thru 1.4, specifically within the Level Control cluster's server tick logic (`emberAfLevelControlClusterServerTickCallback`). When a MoveToLevel command is executed and followed by a conflicting write to the OperationMode attribute (in the Pump Configuration and Control cluster), an invariant check (`minLevel < currentLevel`) fails and causes the device to abort. This leads to a denial of service condition. The issue is confirmed in SDK versions 1.3 and 1.4 (commit ab3d5ae), and is triggered remotely without authentication.
CVE-2026-51080 2026-07-22 9.8 Critical
libpvestorage-perl v9.1.1 and libpve-storage-perl v8.3.7 were discovered to contain an XML External Entity (XXE) vulnerability.
CVE-2026-10674 1 Zephyrproject 1 Zephyr 2026-07-22 5.5 Medium
The NXP LPUART serial driver (drivers/serial/uart_mcux_lpuart.c), when CONFIG_UART_USE_RUNTIME_CONFIGURE is enabled, called LPUART_Deinit() at the start of mcux_lpuart_configure(), which disables the LPUART peripheral clocks. The requested configuration is validated only afterwards (in mcux_lpuart_configure_basic), and unsupported parity/data-bit/stop-bit/flow-control values return -ENOTSUP before the clock is re-enabled. As a result, a uart_configure() request with an unsupported configuration left the LPUART in a clock-disabled state; any subsequent access to LPUART registers (poll_out/poll_in, interrupt handling, or a later reconfigure) faults on the gated peripheral and escalates to a hard fault, crashing the system. uart_configure() is a Zephyr syscall whose verifier (z_vrfy_uart_configure) only checks that cfg is readable user memory and forwards the caller-supplied configuration unchanged, so an unprivileged userspace thread with access to an LPUART device can deterministically trigger the fault, a persistent system-wide denial of service. Introduced in v2.5.0 and present in all subsequent releases until this fix, which removes the LPUART_Deinit() call and instead only disables the transmitter/receiver, leaving the clock running.
CVE-2026-63856 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-22 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu/vcn: set no_user_fence for VCN v2.0 enc/dec rings VCN encoder and decoder rings do not support 64-bit user fence writes, reject CS submissions with user fences. (cherry picked from commit e2b5499fca55f1a32960a311bbb62e35891eaf73)
CVE-2026-63955 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-22 7.5 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/vmalloc: do not trigger BUG() on BH disabled context __get_vm_area_node() currently triggers a BUG() if in_interrupt() returns true. However, in_interrupt() also reports true when BH are disabled. The bridge code can call rhashtable_lookup_insert_fast() with bottom halves disabled: __vlan_add() -> br_fdb_add_local() spin_lock_bh(&br->hash_lock); <-- Disable BH -> fdb_add_local() -> fdb_create() -> rhashtable_lookup_insert_fast() -> kvmalloc() -> vmalloc() -> __get_vm_area_node() -> BUG_ON(in_interrupt()) spin_unlock_bh(&br->hash_lock) this triggers the BUG() despite the caller not being in NMI or hard IRQ context. Replace the in_interrupt() check with in_nmi() || in_hardirq().
CVE-2026-56817 1 Netty 1 Netty 2026-07-22 N/A
Netty is a network application framework for development of protocol servers and clients. In versions 4.2.0.Final through 4.2.15.Final and 4.1.0.Final through 4.1.135.Final, any caller that can deliver bytes to a Netty channel pipeline containing `XmlDecoder` can send XML with a `DOCTYPE` declaration to an `AsyncXMLInputFactory` instantiated with no security configuration, leaving DTD and entity handling active depending on Aalto XML async parser behavior and creating conditional XML external entity risk. This issue is fixed in versions 4.1.136.Final and 4.2.16.Final.
CVE-2026-14586 2026-07-22 5.9 Medium
In NLnet Labs Unbound 1.22.0 up to and including 1.25.1, in DNS-over-QUIC environments, with high concurrency and under pressure, an assertion in libngtcp2 about monotonic timestamps could trigger and result in server termination and thus denial of service. When interfacing with libngtcp2, for DNS-over-QUIC support in Unbound, it is expected to use monotonic time. Unbound was using realtime instead, and in DoQ environments with high concurrency and under pressure, an assert in libngtcp2 for the quic timestamp would trigger and terminate the server. This vulnerability needs Unbound to be compiled with DoQ support ('--with-libngtcp2') and the 'quic-port' to be configured for the listening interfaces.
CVE-2026-47475 1 Nvidia 1 Tensorrt-llm 2026-07-22 6.2 Medium
NVIDIA TensorRT-LLM contains a vulnerability in the OpenAI-compatible inference API where an attacker could trigger a reachable assertion in the sampler thread. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to denial of service.
CVE-2026-63973 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-21 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: mana: Add NULL guards in teardown path to prevent panic on attach failure When queue allocation fails partway through, the error cleanup frees and NULLs apc->tx_qp and apc->rxqs. Multiple teardown paths such as mana_remove(), mana_change_mtu() recovery, and internal error handling in mana_alloc_queues() can subsequently call into functions that dereference these pointers without NULL checks: - mana_chn_setxdp() dereferences apc->rxqs[0], causing a NULL pointer dereference panic (CR2: 0000000000000000 at mana_chn_setxdp+0x26). - mana_destroy_vport() iterates apc->rxqs without a NULL check. - mana_fence_rqs() iterates apc->rxqs without a NULL check. - mana_dealloc_queues() iterates apc->tx_qp without a NULL check. Add NULL guards for apc->rxqs in mana_fence_rqs(), mana_destroy_vport(), and before the mana_chn_setxdp() call. Add a NULL guard for apc->tx_qp in mana_dealloc_queues() to skip TX queue draining when TX queues were never allocated or already freed.
CVE-2026-63989 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-21 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bridge: Fix sleep in atomic context in netlink path Since the introduction of the netlink configuration path for bridge ports in commit 25c71c75ac87 ("bridge: bridge port parameters over netlink"), br_setport() was always called with the bridge lock held around it. Back then this decision made sense: The bridge lock protects the STP state of the bridge and its ports and at that time the function only processed three STP related netlink attributes (cost, priority and state). Nowadays, br_setport() processes a lot more attributes and most of them do not need the bridge lock: * Bridge flags: Only require RTNL. Read locklessly by the data path. Annotations can be added in net-next. * FDB port flushing: Only requires the FDB lock. * Multicast attributes: Only require the multicast lock. * Group forward mask: Only requires RTNL. Read locklessly by the data path. Annotations can be added in net-next. * Backup port and NHID: Only require RTNL. Read locklessly by the data path. This is a problem as the bridge calls dev_set_promiscuity() when certain bridge port flags change and this function can sleep since the commit cited below, resulting in a splat such as [1]. Fix this by reducing the scope of the bridge lock and only take it when processing the three STP related attributes that require it. This is consistent with the multicast attributes where each attribute acquires the multicast lock instead of having one critical section for all relevant attributes. CVE-2026-14957 1 Libreswan 1 Libreswan 2026-07-21 7.5 High
No description is available for this CVE.
CVE-2026-12080 2 Qemu, Redhat 4 Qemu, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Nvidia and 1 more 2026-07-20 7.3 High
A flaw was found in the QEMU Guest Agent (qga). A local unprivileged user can exploit a vulnerability in the guest-ssh-add-authorized-keys command handler by manipulating symbolic links. This can occur either through a deterministic directory-symlink bypass or a Time-of-Check to Time-of-Use (TOCTOU) file-symlink race. Successful exploitation allows the attacker to gain ownership of arbitrary root-owned files or directories, leading to root access. This vulnerability requires an external management layer (e.g., libvirt) to trigger the affected code path.
CVE-2026-16206 1 Django-oauth 1 Django-oauth-toolkit 2026-07-20 6.3 Medium
A security vulnerability has been detected in django-oauth django-oauth-toolkit 3.3.0. This issue affects the function _load_id_token of the file oauth2_provider/oauth2_validators.py. The manipulation leads to session expiration. The attack can be initiated remotely. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet.
CVE-2026-64176 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-20 8.1 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: iwlwifi: mvm: fix driver-set TX rates on old devices On old devices such as 7265D, rates are still encoded in version 1 format, which doesn't use the CCK/OFDM rate index (0-3/0-7) but rather their PLCP value (e.g. 10 for 1 Mbps CCK rate.) While introducing v3 rates, I changed the driver from internally handling v1 rates and converting to v2, to internally handling v3 and converting to v1 or v2 according to the firmware. I accordingly changed the code in iwl_mvm_mac80211_idx_to_hwrate() to no longer have different values for different APIs. This was correct. However, I later reverted this part of the change, because it was reported that I had broken beacon rates, causing a FW assert/crash. This caused TX_CMD rates to be set incorrectly, potentially causing a warning when reported back from the device as having been used. Fix this (hopefully correctly now) by handling beacon rates in the TX_CMD that's embedded in the beacon template command separately. Restore iwl_mvm_mac80211_idx_to_hwrate() to return only the rate index, not PLCP value, fixing the real TX_CMD.
CVE-2026-63089 2026-07-18 9.3 Critical
WireGuard Easy through 15.3.0, fixed in commit 66b292b, contains a cryptographically weak one-time link token generation vulnerability that allows unauthenticated network attackers to recover WireGuard peer credentials by brute-forcing a keyspace of at most 1000 candidate tokens per client ID, as the token is computed using CRC32 over a random value constrained to 0-999. Attackers can enumerate candidate tokens against the unauthenticated /cnf/:oneTimeLink route, which lacks rate limiting and does not validate token expiration, to obtain a peer's PrivateKey and PresharedKey and impersonate that peer on the VPN network.
CVE-2026-10651 1 Zephyrproject-rtos 1 Zephyr 2026-07-17 7.1 High
bt_sdp_parse_attribute() in subsys/bluetooth/host/classic/sdp.c validated only that the SDP record buffer held the type-marker byte plus the 2-byte attribute ID (a check of buf->len < 3) but then read a fourth byte, the data-element descriptor (type), via net_buf_simple_pull_u8(). Because net_buf_simple_pull_u8() dereferences buf->data[0] before its only bounds guard (an __ASSERT_NO_MSG that compiles out when CONFIG_ASSERT is disabled, the production default), a record of exactly three bytes (0x09 followed by a 2-byte attribute ID) causes a one-byte read past the end of the logical buffer. The parser is reachable from inbound, remote-controlled data: a Bluetooth BR/EDR peer acting as an SDP server returns discovery-response records that are stored verbatim in the client receive buffer and parsed via the public bt_sdp_get_attr()/bt_sdp_has_attr()/bt_sdp_record_parse() helpers. The over-read is bounded to a single byte that is used only as an internal length selector and is never leaked to the attacker; subsequent length checks then reject the malformed record. Realistic impact is therefore limited to an edge-case denial of service (a fault only if the record ends exactly at a mapped-memory boundary, or a deterministic assert panic when CONFIG_ASSERT=y). Affects Zephyr v4.3.0 and v4.4.0; fixed by adding sizeof(type) to the length check.
CVE-2026-44435 1 H2o 1 Quicly 2026-07-17 7.5 High
Quicly is an IETF QUIC protocol implementation intended primarily for use within the H2O HTTP server. Prior to commit 937d0e9, an assertion failure is raised when the total number of valid handshake messages received over a CRYPTO stream of a single packet number space exceeds 32KB, causing a Denial of Service. This issue has been fixed by commit 937d0e9.
CVE-2026-47087 1 Cyrusimap 1 Cyrus Imap 2026-07-16 3.5 Low
An issue was discovered in cyrus-imapd in Cyrus IMAP through 3.12.2. URLAUTH does not honor revoked authorizer access. A URLAUTH URL minted while the authorizer had access continued to work after that access was revoked.
