Bugsink is a self-hosted error tracking service. In versions 1.4.2 and below, 1.5.0 through 1.5.4, 1.6.0 through 1.6.3, and 1.7.0 through 1.7.3, ingestion paths construct file locations directly from untrusted event_id input without validation. A specially crafted event_id can result in paths outside the intended directory, potentially allowing file overwrite or creation in arbitrary locations. Submitting such input requires access to a valid DSN, potentially exposing them. If Bugsink runs in a container, the effect is confined to the container’s filesystem. In non-containerized setups, the overwrite may affect other parts of the system accessible to that user. This is fixed in versions 1.4.3, 1.5.5, 1.6.4 and 1.7.4.
An issue was discovered in the Amazon Linux packages of OpenSSH 7.4 for Amazon Linux 1 and 2, because of an incomplete fix for CVE-2019-6111 within these specific packages. The fix had only covered cases where an absolute path is passed to scp. When a relative path is used, there is no verification that the name of a file received by the client matches the file requested. Fixed packages are available with numbers 7.4p1-22.78.amzn1 and 7.4p1-22.amzn2.0.2.
Using ParsePKCS1PrivateKey to parse a RSA key that is missing the CRT values would panic when verifying that the key is well formed.
A vulnerability in allegroai/clearml version v2.0.1 allows for path traversal due to improper handling of symbolic and hard links in the `safe_extract` function. This flaw can lead to arbitrary file writes outside the intended directory, potentially resulting in remote code execution if critical files are overwritten.
An attacker can obtain server information using Path Traversal vulnerability to conduct SQL Injection, which possibly exploits Unrestricted Upload of File with Dangerous Type vulnerability in MarkAny SafePC Enterprise on Windows, Linux. This issue affects SafePC Enterprise: V7.0.* (V7.0.YYYY.MM.DD) before V7.0.1, and V5.*.*.
VideoFlow Digital Video Protection DVP 2.10 contains an authenticated directory traversal vulnerability that allows attackers to access arbitrary system files through unvalidated 'ID' parameters. Attackers can exploit multiple Perl scripts like downloadsys.pl to read sensitive files by manipulating directory path traversal in download requests.
| This vulnerability in Grafana's datasource proxy API allows authorization checks to be bypassed by adding an extra slash character in the URL path.
Users with minimal permissions could gain unauthorized read access to GET endpoints in Alertmanager and Prometheus datasources.
The issue primarily affects datasources that implement route-specific permissions, including Alertmanager and certain Prometheus-based datasources. |
A weakness has been identified in atlaszz AI Photo Team Galleryit App 1.3.8.2 on Android. This affects an unknown part of the component gallery.photogallery.pictures.vault.album. This manipulation causes path traversal. The attack needs to be launched locally. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be exploited. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
A vulnerability has been found in Zavy86 WikiDocs up to 1.0.77 and classified as critical. Affected by this vulnerability is the function image_drop_upload_ajax/image_delete_ajax of the file submit.php. The manipulation leads to path traversal. The attack can be launched remotely. Upgrading to version 1.0.78 is able to address this issue. The identifier of the patch is 98ea9ee4a2052c4327f89d2f7688cc1b5749450d. It is recommended to upgrade the affected component.
E.D.D.I (Enhanced Dialog Driven Interface) is a middleware to connect and manage LLM API bots. A path traversal vulnerability exists in the backup export functionality of EDDI, as implemented in `RestExportService.java`. This vulnerability allows an attacker to access sensitive files on the server by manipulating the `botFilename` parameter in requests. The application fails to sanitize user input, enabling malicious inputs such as `..%2f..%2fetc%2fpasswd` to access arbitrary files. However, the **severity of this vulnerability is significantly limited** because EDDI typically runs within a **Docker container**, which provides additional layers of isolation and restricted permissions. As a result, while this vulnerability exposes files within the container, it does not inherently threaten the underlying host system or other containers. A patch is required to sanitize and validate the botFilename input parameter. Users should ensure they are using version 5.4 which contains this patdch. For temporary mitigation, access to the vulnerable endpoint should be restricted through firewall rules or authentication mechanisms.
A path traversal vulnerability exists in the XTTS server included in the lollms package, version v9.6. This vulnerability arises from the ability to perform an unauthenticated root folder settings change. Although the read file endpoint is protected against path traversals, this protection can be bypassed by changing the root folder to '/'. This allows attackers to read arbitrary files on the system. Additionally, the output folders can be changed to write arbitrary audio files to any location on the system.
A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, was found in Wangshen SecGate 3600 2024. Affected is an unknown function of the file /?g=route_ispinfo_export_save. The manipulation of the argument file_name leads to path traversal. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used.
A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in Wangshen SecGate 3600 2024. This issue affects some unknown processing of the file ?g=obj_area_export_save. The manipulation of the argument file_name leads to path traversal. The attack may be initiated remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used.
Luanox is a module host for Lua packages. Prior to 0.1.1, a file traversal vulnerability can cause potential denial of service by overwriting Phoenix runtime files. Package names like ../../package are not properly filtered and pass the validity check of the rockspec verification system. This causes the uploaded file to be stored at the relative path location. If planned carefully, this could overwrite a runtime file and cause the website to crash. This vulnerability is fixed by 0.1.1.
Certain models of D-Link wireless routers have a path traversal vulnerability. Unauthenticated attackers on the same local area network can read arbitrary system files by manipulating the URL.
Harness Open Source is an end-to-end developer platform with Source Control Management, CI/CD Pipelines, Hosted Developer Environments, and Artifact Registries. Prior to version 3.3.0, Open Source Harness git LFS server (Gitness) exposes api to retrieve and upload files via git LFS. Implementation of upload git LFS file api is vulnerable to arbitrary file write. Due to improper sanitization for upload path, a malicious authenticated user who has access to Harness Gitness server api can use a crafted upload request to write arbitrary file to any location on file system, may even compromise the server. Users using git LFS are vulnerable. This issue has been patched in version 3.3.0.
A path-traversal vulnerability in the logout functionality of Shenzhen Zhibotong Electronics ZBT WE2001 23.09.27 allows remote attackers to delete arbitrary files on the host by supplying a crafted session cookie value.
Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability in GE Vernova WorkstationST on Windows (EGD Configuration Server modules) allows Path Traversal. This issue affects WorkstationST: WorkstationST V07.10.10C and earlier.
