CVE-2003-1354 1 Gamespy3d 1 Gamespy 3d 2026-04-16 N/A
Multiple GameSpy 3D 2.62 compatible gaming servers generate very large UDP responses to small requests, which allows remote attackers to use the servers as an amplifier in DDoS attacks with spoofed UDP query packets, as demonstrated using Battlefield 1942.
CVE-2006-1652 1 Ultravnc 2 Tabbed Viewer, Vnc Viewer 2026-04-16 N/A
Multiple buffer overflows in (a) UltraVNC (aka Ultr@VNC) 1.0.1 and earlier and (b) tabbed_viewer 1.29 (1) allow user-assisted remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a malicious server that sends a long string to a client that connects on TCP port 5900, which triggers an overflow in Log::ReallyPrint; and (2) allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service (server crash) via a long HTTP GET request to TCP port 5800, which triggers an overflow in VNCLog::ReallyPrint.
CVE-2003-0227 1 Microsoft 2 Windows 2000, Windows Nt 2026-04-16 N/A
The logging capability for unicast and multicast transmissions in the ISAPI extension for Microsoft Windows Media Services in Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 and 2000, nsiislog.dll, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service in Internet Information Server (IIS) and execute arbitrary code via a certain network request.
CVE-1999-0332 1 Microsoft 1 Netmeeting 2026-04-16 N/A
Buffer overflow in NetMeeting allows denial of service and remote command execution.
CVE-2004-0416 6 Cvs, Gentoo, Openbsd and 3 more 6 Cvs, Linux, Openbsd and 3 more 2026-04-16 N/A
Double free vulnerability for the error_prog_name string in CVS 1.12.x through 1.12.8, and 1.11.x through 1.11.16, may allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code.
CVE-2006-3401 1 Id Software 1 Quake 3 Engine 2026-04-16 N/A
Stack-based buffer overflow in Quake 3 Engine as used by Quake 3: Arena 1.32b and 1.32c allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service and possibly execute code via long CS_ITEMS values.
CVE-2006-3638 1 Microsoft 2 Ie, Internet Explorer 2026-04-16 N/A
Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.01 and 6 does not properly handle uninitialized COM objects, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (memory corruption) and possibly execute arbitrary code, as demonstrated by the Nth function in the DirectAnimation.DATuple ActiveX control, aka "COM Object Instantiation Memory Corruption Vulnerability."
CVE-2002-2372 1 Ibm 2 Infoprint, Infoprint 21 2026-04-16 N/A
The telnet server in Infoprint 21 running controller software before 1.056007 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) via a long username, possibly due to a buffer overflow.
CVE-2005-3265 1 Skype Technologies 1 Skype 2026-04-16 N/A
Buffer overflow in Skype for Windows 1.1.x.0 through 1.4.x.83 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via (1) callto:// and (2) skype:// links, or (3) a non-standard VCARD, possibly due to an underlying error in the SysUtils.WideFmtStr Delphi routine.
CVE-2006-2656 2 Libtiff, Redhat 2 Libtiff, Enterprise Linux 2026-04-16 N/A
Stack-based buffer overflow in the tiffsplit command in libtiff 3.8.2 and earlier might might allow attackers to execute arbitrary code via a long filename. NOTE: tiffsplit is not setuid. If there is not a common scenario under which tiffsplit is called with attacker-controlled command line arguments, then perhaps this issue should not be included in CVE.
CVE-2004-2727 1 Mailenable 1 Mailenable 2026-04-16 N/A
Buffer overflow in MEHTTPS (HTTPMail) of MailEnable Professional 1.5 through 1.7 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (application crash) via a long HTTP GET request.
CVE-2002-1200 1 Oneidentity 1 Syslog-ng 2026-04-16 N/A
Balabit Syslog-NG 1.4.x before 1.4.15, and 1.5.x before 1.5.20, when using template filenames or output, does not properly track the size of a buffer when constant characters are encountered during macro expansion, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service and possibly execute arbitrary code.
CVE-2006-0097 1 Php 1 Php 2026-04-16 N/A
Stack-based buffer overflow in the create_named_pipe function in libmysql.c in PHP 4.3.10 and 4.4.x before 4.4.3 for Windows allows attackers to execute arbitrary code via a long (1) arg_host or (2) arg_unix_socket argument, as demonstrated by a long named pipe variable in the host argument to the mysql_connect function.
CVE-2026-4149 1 Sonos 2 Era 300, Era 300 Firmware 2026-04-15 9.8 Critical
Sonos Era 300 SMB Response Out-Of-Bounds Access Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Sonos Era 300. Authentication is not required to exploit this vulnerability. The specific flaw exists within the handling of the DataOffset field within SMB responses. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of user-supplied data, which can result in a memory access past the end of an allocated buffer. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the kernel. Was ZDI-CAN-28345.
CVE-2022-0204 3 Bluez, Debian, Fedoraproject 3 Bluez, Debian Linux, Fedora 2026-04-15 8.8 High
A heap overflow vulnerability was found in bluez in versions prior to 5.63. An attacker with local network access could pass specially crafted files causing an application to halt or crash, leading to a denial of service.
CVE-2019-8922 3 Bluez, Debian, Linux 3 Bluez, Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 8.8 High
A heap-based buffer overflow was discovered in bluetoothd in BlueZ through 5.48. There isn't any check on whether there is enough space in the destination buffer. The function simply appends all data passed to it. The values of all attributes that are requested are appended to the output buffer. There are no size checks whatsoever, resulting in a simple heap overflow if one can craft a request where the response is large enough to overflow the preallocated buffer. This issue exists in service_attr_req gets called by process_request (in sdpd-request.c), which also allocates the response buffer.
CVE-2017-1000257 3 Debian, Haxx, Redhat 5 Debian Linux, Libcurl, Enterprise Linux and 2 more 2026-04-15 9.1 Critical
An IMAP FETCH response line indicates the size of the returned data, in number of bytes. When that response says the data is zero bytes, libcurl would pass on that (non-existing) data with a pointer and the size (zero) to the deliver-data function. libcurl's deliver-data function treats zero as a magic number and invokes strlen() on the data to figure out the length. The strlen() is called on a heap based buffer that might not be zero terminated so libcurl might read beyond the end of it into whatever memory lies after (or just crash) and then deliver that to the application as if it was actually downloaded.
