| Jetty PushSessionCacheFilter can be exploited by unauthenticated users to launch remote DoS attacks by exhausting the server’s memory. | ||||
| CVE-2024-58077 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2025-11-03 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ASoC: soc-pcm: don't use soc_pcm_ret() on .prepare callback commit 1f5664351410 ("ASoC: lower "no backend DAIs enabled for ... Port" log severity") ignores -EINVAL error message on common soc_pcm_ret(). It is used from many functions, ignoring -EINVAL is over-kill. The reason why -EINVAL was ignored was it really should only be used upon invalid parameters coming from userspace and in that case we don't want to log an error since we do not want to give userspace a way to do a denial-of-service attack on the syslog / diskspace. So don't use soc_pcm_ret() on .prepare callback is better idea. | ||||
| CVE-2024-54677 | 3 Apache, Netapp, Redhat | 4 Tomcat, Bootstrap Os, Hci Compute Node and 1 more | 2025-11-03 | 5.3 Medium |
| Uncontrolled Resource Consumption vulnerability in the examples web application provided with Apache Tomcat leads to denial of service. This issue affects Apache Tomcat: from 11.0.0-M1 through 11.0.1, from 10.1.0-M1 through 10.1.33, from 9.0.0.M1 through 9.9.97. The following versions were EOL at the time the CVE was created but are known to be affected: 8.5.0 though 8.5.100. Other, older, EOL versions may also be affected. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 11.0.2, 10.1.34 or 9.0.98, which fixes the issue. | ||||
| CVE-2024-38611 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2025-11-03 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: i2c: et8ek8: Don't strip remove function when driver is builtin Using __exit for the remove function results in the remove callback being discarded with CONFIG_VIDEO_ET8EK8=y. When such a device gets unbound (e.g. using sysfs or hotplug), the driver is just removed without the cleanup being performed. This results in resource leaks. Fix it by compiling in the remove callback unconditionally. This also fixes a W=1 modpost warning: WARNING: modpost: drivers/media/i2c/et8ek8/et8ek8: section mismatch in reference: et8ek8_i2c_driver+0x10 (section: .data) -> et8ek8_remove (section: .exit.text) | ||||
| CVE-2024-34750 | 3 Apache, Netapp, Redhat | 5 Tomcat, Ontap Tools, Enterprise Linux and 2 more | 2025-11-03 | 7.5 High |
| Improper Handling of Exceptional Conditions, Uncontrolled Resource Consumption vulnerability in Apache Tomcat. When processing an HTTP/2 stream, Tomcat did not handle some cases of excessive HTTP headers correctly. This led to a miscounting of active HTTP/2 streams which in turn led to the use of an incorrect infinite timeout which allowed connections to remain open which should have been closed. This issue affects Apache Tomcat: from 11.0.0-M1 through 11.0.0-M20, from 10.1.0-M1 through 10.1.24, from 9.0.0-M1 through 9.0.89. The following versions were EOL at the time the CVE was created but are known to be affected: 8.5.0 though 8.5.100. Other EOL versions may also be affected. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 11.0.0-M21, 10.1.25 or 9.0.90, which fixes the issue. | ||||
| CVE-2024-32663 | 1 Oisf | 1 Suricata | 2025-11-03 | 7.5 High |
| Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. Prior to 7.0.5 and 6.0.19, a small amount of HTTP/2 traffic can lead to Suricata using a large amount of memory. The issue has been addressed in Suricata 7.0.5 and 6.0.19. Workarounds include disabling the HTTP/2 parser and reducing `app-layer.protocols.http2.max-table-size` value (default is 65536). | ||||
| CVE-2024-26618 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2025-11-03 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: arm64/sme: Always exit sme_alloc() early with existing storage When sme_alloc() is called with existing storage and we are not flushing we will always allocate new storage, both leaking the existing storage and corrupting the state. Fix this by separating the checks for flushing and for existing storage as we do for SVE. Callers that reallocate (eg, due to changing the vector length) should call sme_free() themselves. | ||||
| CVE-2022-49219 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2025-11-03 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: vfio/pci: fix memory leak during D3hot to D0 transition If 'vfio_pci_core_device::needs_pm_restore' is set (PCI device does not have No_Soft_Reset bit set in its PMCSR config register), then the current PCI state will be saved locally in 'vfio_pci_core_device::pm_save' during D0->D3hot transition and same will be restored back during D3hot->D0 transition. For saving the PCI state locally, pci_store_saved_state() is being used and the pci_load_and_free_saved_state() will free the allocated memory. But for reset related IOCTLs, vfio driver calls PCI reset-related API's which will internally change the PCI power state back to D0. So, when the guest resumes, then it will get the current state as D0 and it will skip the call to vfio_pci_set_power_state() for changing the power state to D0 explicitly. In this case, the memory pointed by 'pm_save' will never be freed. In a malicious sequence, the state changing to D3hot followed by VFIO_DEVICE_RESET/VFIO_DEVICE_PCI_HOT_RESET can be run in a loop and it can cause an OOM situation. This patch frees the earlier allocated memory first before overwriting 'pm_save' to prevent the mentioned memory leak. | ||||
| CVE-2022-49190 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2025-11-03 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: kernel/resource: fix kfree() of bootmem memory again Since commit ebff7d8f270d ("mem hotunplug: fix kfree() of bootmem memory"), we could get a resource allocated during boot via alloc_resource(). And it's required to release the resource using free_resource(). Howerver, many people use kfree directly which will result in kernel BUG. In order to fix this without fixing every call site, just leak a couple of bytes in such corner case. | ||||
| CVE-2022-41861 | 2 Freeradius, Redhat | 2 Freeradius, Enterprise Linux | 2025-11-03 | 6.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in freeradius. A malicious RADIUS client or home server can send a malformed abinary attribute which can cause the server to crash. | ||||

| CVE-2022-37052 | 1 Freedesktop | 1 Poppler | 2025-11-03 | 6.5 Medium |
| A reachable Object::getString assertion in Poppler 22.07.0 allows attackers to cause a denial of service due to a failure in markObject. | ||||
| CVE-2022-37051 | 2 Debian, Freedesktop | 2 Debian Linux, Poppler | 2025-11-03 | 6.5 Medium |
| An issue was discovered in Poppler 22.07.0. There is a reachable abort which leads to denial of service because the main function in pdfunite.cc lacks a stream check before saving an embedded file. | ||||
| CVE-2022-37050 | 2 Debian, Freedesktop | 2 Debian Linux, Poppler | 2025-11-03 | 6.5 Medium |
| In Poppler 22.07.0, PDFDoc::savePageAs in PDFDoc.c callows attackers to cause a denial-of-service (application crashes with SIGABRT) by crafting a PDF file in which the xref data structure is mishandled in getCatalog processing. Note that this vulnerability is caused by the incomplete patch of CVE-2018-20662. | ||||
| CVE-2022-24599 | 3 Audiofile, Debian, Fedoraproject | 3 Audiofile, Debian Linux, Fedora | 2025-11-03 | 6.5 Medium |
| In autofile Audio File Library 0.3.6, there exists one memory leak vulnerability in printfileinfo, in printinfo.c, which allows an attacker to leak sensitive information via a crafted file. The printfileinfo function calls the copyrightstring function to get data, however, it dosn't use zero bytes to truncate the data. | ||||
| CVE-2017-14180 | 2 Apport Project, Canonical | 2 Apport, Ubuntu Linux | 2025-11-03 | N/A |
| Apport 2.13 through 2.20.7 does not properly handle crashes originating from a PID namespace allowing local users to create certain files as root which an attacker could leverage to perform a denial of service via resource exhaustion or possibly gain root privileges, a different vulnerability than CVE-2017-14179. | ||||
| CVE-2025-61919 | 1 Rack | 1 Rack | 2025-11-03 | 7.5 High |
| Rack is a modular Ruby web server interface. Prior to versions 2.2.20, 3.1.18, and 3.2.3, `Rack::Request#POST` reads the entire request body into memory for `Content-Type: application/x-www-form-urlencoded`, calling `rack.input.read(nil)` without enforcing a length or cap. Large request bodies can therefore be buffered completely into process memory before parsing, leading to denial of service (DoS) through memory exhaustion. Users should upgrade to Rack version 2.2.20, 3.1.18, or 3.2.3, anu of which enforces form parameter limits using `query_parser.bytesize_limit`, preventing unbounded reads of `application/x-www-form-urlencoded` bodies. Additionally, enforce strict maximum body size at the proxy or web server layer (e.g., Nginx `client_max_body_size`, Apache `LimitRequestBody`). | ||||
| CVE-2025-53019 | 1 Imagemagick | 1 Imagemagick | 2025-11-03 | 3.7 Low |
| ImageMagick is free and open-source software used for editing and manipulating digital images. In versions prior to 7.1.2-0 and 6.9.13-26, in ImageMagick's `magick stream` command, specifying multiple consecutive `%d` format specifiers in a filename template causes a memory leak. Versions 7.1.2-0 and 6.9.13-26 fix the issue. | ||||
| CVE-2024-13978 | 1 Libtiff | 1 Libtiff | 2025-11-03 | 2.5 Low |
| A vulnerability was found in LibTIFF up to 4.7.0. It has been declared as problematic. Affected by this vulnerability is the function t2p_read_tiff_init of the file tools/tiff2pdf.c of the component fax2ps. The manipulation leads to null pointer dereference. The attack needs to be approached locally. The complexity of an attack is rather high. The exploitation appears to be difficult. The patch is named 2ebfffb0e8836bfb1cd7d85c059cd285c59761a4. It is recommended to apply a patch to fix this issue. | ||||
