CVSS v3.1 |
| Incorrect default permissions for the Intel(R) Optane(TM) PMem management software before versions CR_MGMT_01.00.00.3584, CR_MGMT_02.00.00.4052, CR_MGMT_03.00.00.0538 within Ring 3: User Applications may allow an escalation of privilege. Unprivileged software adversary with an authenticated user combined with a high complexity attack may enable escalation of privilege. This result may potentially occur via local access when attack requirements are present without special internal knowledge and requires active user interaction. The potential vulnerability may impact the confidentiality (high), integrity (high) and availability (high) of the vulnerable system, resulting in subsequent system confidentiality (none), integrity (none) and availability (none) impacts. |
| Toshiba printers use Sendmail to send emails to recipients. Sendmail is used with several insecure directories. A local attacker can inject a malicious Sendmail configuration file. As for the affected products/models/versions, see the reference URL. |
| A vulnerability was found in Sonarr 4.0.15.2940. The impacted element is an unknown function of the file C:\ProgramData\Sonarr\bin\Sonarr.Console.exe of the component Service. Performing manipulation results in incorrect default permissions. The attack is only possible with local access. The vendor confirms this vulnerability but classifies it as a "low severity issue due to the default service user being used as it would either require someone to intentionally change the service to a highly privileged account or an attacker would need an admin level account". It is planned to fix this issue in the next major release v5. |
| The configuration of Nozbe on macOS, specifically the "RunAsNode" fuse enabled, allows a local attacker with unprivileged access to execute arbitrary code that inherits Nozbe TCC (Transparency, Consent, and Control) permissions.
Acquired resource access is limited to previously granted permissions by the user. Access to other resources beyond granted-permissions requires user interaction with a system prompt asking for permission.
This issue was fixed in version 2025.11 of Nozbe. |
| The NetCloud Exchange client for Windows, version 1.110.50, contains an insecure file and folder permissions vulnerability. A normal (non-admin) user could exploit the weakness in file and folder permissions to escalate privileges, execute arbitrary code and maintain persistence on the compromised machine. It has been identified that full control permissions exist on the ‘Everyone’ group (i.e. any user who has local access to the operating system regardless of their privileges). |
| The configuration of Mosh-Pro on macOS, specifically the "RunAsNode" fuse enabled, allows a local attacker with unprivileged access to execute arbitrary code that inherits Mosh-Pro TCC (Transparency, Consent, and Control) permissions.
Acquired resource access is limited to previously granted permissions by the user. Accessing other resources beyond previously granted TCC permissions will prompt the user for approval in the name of Mosh-Pro, potentially disguising attacker's malicious intent.
This issue was detected in 1.3.2 version of Mosh-Pro. Since authors did not respond to messages from CNA, patching status is unknown. |
| COMFAST CF-WR630AX v2.7.0.2 was discovered to contain a hardcoded password vulnerability in /etc/shadow, which allows attackers to log in as root. |
| Incorrect default permissions in some firmware for the Intel(R) Arc(TM) B-series GPUs within Ring 1: Device Drivers may allow an escalation of privilege. System software adversary with a privileged user combined with a low complexity attack may enable escalation of privilege. This result may potentially occur via local access when attack requirements are not present with special internal knowledge and requires no user interaction. The potential vulnerability may impact the confidentiality (high), integrity (high) and availability (high) of the vulnerable system, resulting in subsequent system confidentiality (none), integrity (none) and availability (none) impacts. |
| When installing Nessus Agent to a non-default location on a Windows host, Nessus Agent versions prior to 10.8.3 did not enforce secure permissions for sub-directories. This could allow for local privilege escalation if users had not secured the directories in the non-default installation location. |
| Incorrect default permissions in some Intel Unite(R) Client Extended Display Plugin software installers before version 1.1.352.157 may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access. |
| Under certain circumstances the impacted Software House C•CURE 9000 installer will utilize unnecessarily wide permissions. |
| An issue in Nothing Tech Nothing OS v.2.6 allows a local attacker to escalate privileges via the NtBpfService component. |
| Incorrect default permissions in some Intel(R) Xeon(R) processor memory controller configurations when using Intel(R) SGX may allow a privileged user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access. |
| A vulnerability classified as critical has been found in REVE Antivirus 1.0.0.0 on Linux. This affects an unknown part of the file /usr/local/reveantivirus/tmp/reveinstall. The manipulation leads to incorrect default permissions. It is possible to launch the attack on the local host. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| An incorrect permissions vulnerability was reported in Elliptic Labs Virtual Lock Sensor that could allow a local, authenticated user to escalate privileges. |
| Incorrect access control in QuickHeal Antivirus Pro 24.1.0.182 and earlier allows authenticated attackers with low-level privileges to arbitrarily modify antivirus settings. |
| guix-daemon in GNU Guix before 5ab3c4c allows privilege escalation because build outputs are accessible by local users before file metadata concerns (e.g., for setuid and setgid programs) are properly addressed. The vulnerability can be remediated within the product via certain pull, reconfigure, and restart actions. Both 5ab3c4c and 5582241 are needed to resolve the vulnerability. |
| Local privilege escalation due to insecure folder permissions. The following products are affected: Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud Agent (Windows) before build 37758. |
| Gee-netics, member of the AXIS Camera Station Pro Bug Bounty Program has found that it is possible for a non-admin user to gain system privileges by redirecting a file deletion upon service restart.
Axis has released patched versions for the highlighted flaw. Please refer to the Axis security advisory for more information and solution. |
| conda-forge-webservices is the web app deployed to run conda-forge admin commands and linting. Prior to version 2025.3.24, the conda_forge_webservice Docker container executes commands without specifying a user. By default, Docker containers run as the root user, which increases the risk of privilege escalation and host compromise if a vulnerability is exploited. This issue has been patched in version 2025.3.24. |
