CVSS v3.1 |
| A vulnerability in the Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) Shell implementation of Cisco UCS Servers and UCS-based appliances could allow an authenticated attacker with valid credentials for a user account with the role of user or admin or an unauthenticated attacker with physical access to an affected device to bypass UEFI Secure Boot validation checks and execute unauthorized software.
This vulnerability is due to the availability of memory write commands in the UEFI Shell while UEFI Secure Boot is enabled on a device. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by selecting the UEFI Shell boot option at boot time and using available shell commands to modify UEFI memory variables. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to manipulate the preboot environment, overwrite UEFI Secure Boot-related memory values, and execute unauthorized software on the affected device. |
| electerm before 5.3.15 exposes 40+ main-process functions through an unvalidated Electron IPC handler with no function-name allowlist or sender validation. Renderer-side script execution can invoke openFileWithEditor and other functions with arbitrary arguments to execute system commands in the main process. |
| Exposed Dangerous Method or Function in ASUS Armoury Crate allow a local user to cause a brief system stall by bypassing driver authentication and sending requests to trigger system management interrupts (SMIs). Repeatedly triggering SMI may lead to a denial-of-service (DoS) condition.Refer to the '
Security Update for Armoury Crate App ' section on the ASUS Security Advisory for more information. |
| A flaw was found in the Submariner operator. The Submariner Custom Resource (CR), used for configuring network connectivity, stores the IPsec pre-shared key (PSK) in an unencrypted format. This key, which is critical for securing communication between Kubernetes clusters, can be accessed by unauthorized parties. Such access enables an attacker to passively decrypt network traffic flowing between any two clusters in the mesh, resulting in sensitive information disclosure. |
| Parallels RAS Client RDP Backend Service Exposed Dangerous Function Local Privilege Escalation Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows local attackers to escalate privileges on affected installations of Parallels RAS Client. An attacker must first obtain the ability to execute low-privileged code on the target system in order to exploit this vulnerability.
The specific flaw exists within the RAS RDP Backend Service. The issue results from an exposed dangerous function. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to escalate privileges and execute arbitrary code in the context of SYSTEM. Was ZDI-CAN-28886. |
| TwsCachedXPathAPI in Convertigo versions before 8.3.11 did not restrict commons-jxpath functions, which could allow expression injection in contexts where an attacker can influence an evaluated XPath expression. Convertigo 8.3.11 fixes the issue by assigning an empty FunctionLibrary to JXPath contexts. |

| Streambert is a cross-platform Electron Desktop App to stream and download video content. Prior to version 2.6.0, the open-external IPC handler in src/ipc/downloads.js passes a renderer-supplied url directly to Electron's shell.openExternal without validating its protocol. A compromised renderer can submit file: URIs or operating-system-specific custom schemes, causing the host to open local files, access remote resources through registered handlers, or launch scripts and applications supported by those handlers. This issue is fixed in version 2.6.0. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ntfs: make system files immutable to prevent corruption
When a system file such as $Bitmap is exposed via show_sys_files and
written from userspace, the volume is corrupted and, because the cluster
allocator scans $Bitmap through the same inode's page cache, a write to
$Bitmap also deadlocks writeback against the folio it already holds locked.
These files are maintained by the driver itself and have no valid reason
to be written through the file interface. Mark base metadata files
(mft_no < FILE_first_user) as immutable during inode read so the VFS
rejects write, mmap, truncate and unlink with -EPERM. Directories are
skipped so the root and $Extend remain usable. Internal metadata updates
do not go through the VFS write path and are unaffected. |
| Streambert is a cross-platform Electron Desktop App to stream and download video content. Versions prior to 2.5.0 improperly validate executable paths supplied to the run-download IPC handler, allowing a compromised renderer process to execute arbitrary local binaries with the application’s privileges. Version 2.5.0 contains a patch. |
| Exposed dangerous method or function in Azure Confidential Ledger allows an authorized attacker to execute code over a network. |
| A security vulnerability has been detected in H3C NX15 V100R017. Affected is the function service.add of the file /api/esps of the component Web API. Such manipulation leads to exposed dangerous routine. The attack may be launched remotely. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure. |
| In apusys, there is a possible escalation of privilege due to a missing bounds check. This could lead to local escalation of privilege if a malicious actor has already obtained the System privilege. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. Patch ID: AUTO00837766; Issue ID: MSV-6767. |
| The AI Engine WordPress plugin before 3.5.5 does not sanitize a user-supplied filename before using it to write a downloaded file, allowing authenticated users with editor-level access to write attacker-controlled bytes to an arbitrary location on the server via path traversal. |
| A reboot of the charging controller can be triggered via Modbus TCP without authentication. Therefore, when the Modbus functionality is enabled by opening the port that CharxModbusServer is listening, an unauthenticated attacker can perform a Denial-of-Service attack. |
| Vitest is a testing framework powered by Vite. From 3.0.0 until 3.2.5, 4.1.8, and 5.0.0-beta.4, Vitest Browser Mode exposed a cdp() API that forwarded raw Chrome DevTools Protocol methods without being gated by allowWrite or allowExec, allowing a remote client with exposed browser API metadata to use CDP Page.setDownloadBehavior and Runtime.evaluate to overwrite vite.config.ts and execute attacker-controlled Node.js code. This issue is fixed in versions 3.2.5, 4.1.8, and 5.0.0-beta. |
| webpack-dev-server versions 5.2.5 and earlier expose two internal developer endpoints, /webpack-dev-server/open-editor and /webpack-dev-server/invalidate, that perform state-changing actions on any GET request without verifying that the request originated from the dev server's own page. Any website a developer visits while the dev server is running can trigger these endpoints cross-origin with no interaction beyond the visit. An attacker can open an arbitrary existing local file in the developer's editor, including files outside the project root, and repeated requests can spawn editor processes and force recompilations that degrade the developer's machine. Patches: upgrade to webpack-dev-server 5.2.6. Workarounds: none. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
crypto: qat - remove unused character device and IOCTLs
The QAT driver exposes a character device (qat_adf_ctl) with IOCTLs
for device configuration, start, stop, status query and enumeration.
These IOCTLs are not part of any public uAPI header and have no known
in-tree or out-of-tree users. Device lifecycle is already managed via
sysfs.
The ioctl interface also increases the attack surface and is the
subject of a number of bug reports.
Remove the character device, the IOCTL definitions, and the related
data structures (adf_dev_status_info, adf_user_cfg_key_val,
adf_user_cfg_section, adf_user_cfg_ctl_data). Drop the now-unused
adf_cfg_user.h header and strip adf_ctl_drv.c down to the minimal
module_init/module_exit hooks for workqueue, AER, and crypto/compression
algorithm registration.
Clean up leftover dead code that was only reachable from the removed
IOCTL paths: adf_cfg_del_all(), adf_devmgr_verify_id(),
adf_devmgr_get_num_dev(), adf_devmgr_get_dev_by_id(),
adf_get_vf_real_id() and the unused ADF_CFG macros.
Additionally, drop the entry associated to QAT IOCTLs in
ioctl-number.rst. |
| Penpot is an open-source design tool for design and code collaboration. Prior to 2.15.0, Penpot MCP's mcp/packages/server/src/ReplServer.ts bound the ReplServer to 0.0.0.0:4403 and exposed an unauthenticated /execute endpoint that passed the code field to PluginBridge.executePluginTask(), allowing anyone on the network to execute JavaScript on the server. This issue is fixed in version 2.15.0. |
