| The Live Composer – Free WordPress Website Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to PHP Object Injection in all versions up to, and including, 2.1.18 via deserialization of untrusted input . This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject a PHP Object. No known POP chain is present in the vulnerable software, which means this vulnerability has no impact unless another plugin or theme containing a POP chain is installed on the site. If a POP chain is present via an additional plugin or theme installed on the target system, it may allow the attacker to perform actions like delete arbitrary files, retrieve sensitive data, or execute code depending on the POP chain present. |

| SAP NetWeaver Business Client does not perform sufficient validation when processing certain locally stored data during application startup. An attacker with low privileges on the local system could replace this data with specially crafted content. When the application is next launched, the crafted content is processed and could lead to arbitrary code execution in the context of the user. This results in a high impact on confidentiality, integrity and availability of the application. |
| EAP's Artemis deserialization configuration permits deserialization by default. ObjectMessage.getObject() uses ObjectInputStreamWithClassLoader, which implements allow-list/block-list filtering via its checkSecurity()/isTrustedType() method. However, by default both allow-list and block-list are empty. When the allow-list is empty (size == 0), isTrustedType() returns true for ALL classes. This means all classes are deserializable by default. |

| The Welcart e-Commerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to PHP Object Injection in all versions up to, and including, 2.12.1 via deserialization of untrusted input in the Telecom EDY payment callback (usces_action_acting_transaction). Unauthenticated attackers can store arbitrary 'reserve' key/value pairs as order metadata during a public checkout, then invoke the callback with an attacker-chosen 'option' parameter to select and unserialize that metadata without any provider signature, source-address, transaction-identity or ownership check. A POP chain is present in the TCPDF library bundled with the plugin itself, so no additional plugin or theme is required. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to delete arbitrary files on the server, including wp-config.php, which can lead to remote code execution when an attacker re-runs the WordPress installer against a database they control. Successful exploitation is contingent on an admin printing an invoice to trigger file deletion. |

| SolidInvoice is an open-source invoicing platform. Prior to version 3.0.1, the `DataGrid` LiveComponent deserializes a `context` prop value using PHP's `unserialize()` after receiving it from the client. Because the prop is marked `writable: true`, an authenticated attacker can supply an arbitrary PHP serialized payload. Version 3.0.1 fixes the issue. |

| ILIAS before versions 9.22, 10.10, and 11.3 contains an unauthenticated PHP object injection vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary code by injecting serialized objects through the LTI authentication endpoint and triggering deserialization via the Shibboleth back-channel logout endpoint. Attackers can write arbitrary serialized objects into session storage, then exploit an available POP gadget through the logout endpoint's unrestricted deserialization to write attacker-controlled PHP content to a web-accessible path and achieve remote code execution as the web server user. |

As this project is retired, we do not plan to release a version that fixes this issue. Users are recommended to find an alternative or restrict access to the instance to trusted users.
Lucy is now maintained outside of the ASF at https://github.com/lucysearch . 0.8.0 is no longer affected by this issue, because the offending feature has been removed there.

| AIOHTTP is an asynchronous HTTP client/server framework for asyncio and Python. Prior to version 3.14.0, using ``CookieJar.load()`` with untrusted input may allow arbitrary code execution. Most applications using this function will be doing so with the user's own data, so this is unlikely to affect many applications. Version 3.14.0 patches the issue. If an application does allow attacker controlled files to be loaded, a workaround on older releases would be to sanitize the files before loading. |
